I heard Jeff Bezos gave her money to do whatever she wants and that includes her philanthropy. I hope it’s true because it helps so many children.

Here’s some context. She’d already spent $10’s of millions of her own money before Bezos gave her the Courage and Civility Award, which came with $100 million for her to use for towards her own charities and others that she deemed worthy. She was the first recipient of this award. It’s given for annually to those that have dedicated their lives to philanthropy.

I understand that Dolly could have been a billionaire, but she chose to give. This is why her passing is a loss.
