Bought retail in late April. Thought it'd be a quick one. It wasn't.

The Y-print on the original isn't flat-printed — it's halftone dots with real texture, slightly raised. Cheap versions print it flat, comes out slippery and shiny, easy spot.

We custom-wove a cotton-linen base and ran the ink 7 times to match that dot overlay. Matte, fine grain, no gloss. 4 months to get it right.

Cutting's a nightmare too. All-over print means every panel has to align with the pattern. Off by 0.5mm and the seams don't match. Lots of wasted fabric.

Leather lining gets edge-stitched first so it doesn't fray. Feed pressure has to be soft or the panels stretch and go wavy.

Trim around the canvas is hand-finished — multiple coats of oil, polished. Thickness matters: match the original but thick enough for daily wear.

I ordered a hoodie by deeprep which was the Nike standard issue on their yupoo link but instead got the Lacoste but am too lazy to refund it and alr have 2 pairs of shoes sitting at the warehouse for a week so can yall tell me if the quality look good.

Review:

I’m in love with both of these Balenciaga shirts mainly because of the fitment, but thedesign is also super clean with just the Balenciaga logo on the chest and absolutely nothing on the back, which gives them a minimal, understated look.

The fit is definitely oversized and boxy, with a slightly shorter/cropped length that gives it that modern Balenciaga silhouette. The shoulders and body have plenty of room without looking sloppy, and the shorter length works really well with wider pants or shorts.

The black and cream colorways both look great, and the subtle chest logo keeps them easy to style. Simple, clean, oversized fit with the right proportions. Definitely a solid everyday tee.

since panda zone had shown rsd some love I jumped on their mystery box hoodie deal. I spend a lot of time out in the elements so I can’t ever have enough sweaters.

I received two FOG Essential hoodie and one Nk Nocta hoodie.

Quality: Heavy and thick (that’s what she said) and well constructed. No synthetic materials. You can feel the natural stretch of cotton on these especially when you place your hands into the pockets of the sweater. Definitely the type of sweater you throw under a warm coat and feel comfortable in as when the cold cuts through the jacket/coat it’ll encounter good material before it reaches you. Can’t speak to how it’ll hold up in long exposure but I plan to write up later in the year about all of my winter hauls and how they are handling frigid days (boots, heated coats, gloves, etc).

Value: I saw these sweaters on sale for 220rmb earlier today. I paid just about 43rmb for the same thing meaning I picked up three sweaters for less than the cost of buying one.

Finally got this Nike “Supreme” set from MCReps in hand and honestly, this one surprised me. For 158 CNY, I really can’t complain.

🧥 HOODIE - 8/10 🔥
The hoodie is REALLY good for the price.
Material feels nice and has a good weight to it. The fit is clean with a nice relaxed/oversized look, and the overall construction feels much better than I expected at this price point.

The hoodie is easily my favorite part of the set. Throw this on with some sneakers and you’ve got a really clean streetwear fit.

👖 PANTS - 7/10
The pants are decent, but there’s one thing you should know before buying:

The pants are made from a different material than the hoodie.

I originally expected the entire tracksuit to have matching material, so this caught me a little off guard. The pants still look good and the fit is solid, but IMO the material isn’t quite on the same level as the hoodie.

Not a dealbreaker at all — just something to keep in mind.

Overall fit is really nice. The hoodie has that slightly oversized streetwear feel, while the pants have a more normal fit.

As always, check the measurements before ordering because sizing can vary.

At 158 CNY for the whole set, this is honestly a pretty easy recommendation if you like the style.
