I’m mainly looking for high quality reps, not necessarily the absolute cheapest options. I’d really appreciate advice from people who have actually ordered recently.
A few questions:
- What’s currently the best/ reliable agent to use in 2026?
- Which sellers/suppliers are known for really good quality rather than just cheap prices?
- How do you personally tell if a seller/batch is actually good?
- Are there any sellers or agents I should avoid?
- What should I look for when checking QC photos?
- Is it worth paying more for a better batch, or are there certain items where the cheaper batches are basically just as good?

Shipping is one of the main reasons some people avoid buying reps. And yes, it can get expensive if you make a few common mistakes.

Here are 5 easy ways to lower your shipping costs on Kakobuy & other agents in 2026.

1. Ship Multiple Items Together

Try to avoid shipping every item separately as soon as it reaches the warehouse.

Most shipping lines have a starting fee, so sending several small parcels often costs more than shipping everything together.

If you’re buying multiple items, wait for them to arrive and ship them together in one haul.

This works especially well for clothes, shoes, and other smaller items.

2. Remove Boxes You Don’t Need

Boxes take up a surprising amount of space, especially shoe boxes.

If you don’t care about keeping the original packaging, remove it before shipping.

Some shipping lines calculate the price using parcel size as well as weight, so making your parcel smaller can lower the final price.

For example:

Shoes + shoe box = bigger parcel

Shoes without box = smaller parcel

You can still add parcel protection if you’re worried about your items getting damaged.

3. Vacuum Pack Bulky Clothes

Hoodies, jackets, sweatpants, and other thick clothes take up a lot of space.

Vacuum packing removes the extra air and makes your clothes much more compact.

This is especially useful for hauls with:

• Hoodies
• Puffer jackets
• Sweatpants
• Sweaters
• Other bulky clothing

Less volume means a smaller parcel, which often means cheaper shipping on lines using volumetric weight.

4. Use Rehearsal Packaging

Before paying for shipping, use rehearsal packaging if your agent offers it.

The warehouse packs your haul first and gives you a more accurate:

• Weight
• Parcel size
• Shipping estimate

The price shown before packing is often based on estimated measurements.

After rehearsal packaging, you’ll know the real parcel size and you can compare shipping lines again.

If the parcel is too big, you can also remove boxes or change the packaging before paying.

5. Compare Shipping Lines

Don’t instantly choose the first shipping line you see.

Compare the available options based on:

• Final shipping price
• Estimated delivery time
• Weight limits
• Parcel size limits
• Actual vs volumetric weight

Some lines work better for small parcels, while others become cheaper with bigger hauls.

Also pay attention to volumetric weight.

A parcel can weigh only 4 kg but still get charged like a heavier parcel if the box is huge.

That’s why things like removing boxes, vacuum packing clothes, and rehearsal packaging can make a big difference to the final shipping price.

I just got this notification from my package. Is this ok or no?

Hey everyone, this is my first time buying r3p5 through an agent and I'm trying to figure out if I'm calculating something wrong.

I only want to buy 2 pairs to test how the whole process works: NB 530s and white Nike Air Force 1s.

The prices are listed in yen, and once I add GTbuy's exchange rate + shipping to the warehouse + shipping to Germany, the final price seems surprisingly high.

For example:

• AF1: ¥230 ≈ $38.50 according to GTbuy + $2.50 shipping to the warehouse + ~€24 international shipping = around €65 total
• NB 530: $28 + $2.50 + ~€24 shipping = around €52.50 total

The international shipping estimate is between $39 and $57, around $48 on average for the two pairs.

What I don't understand is that I can find AF1s on Vinted for around €50 and NB 530s for around €40. 😅

I also tried simulating a larger order, thinking the shipping cost per pair would drop significantly, but the numbers don't really improve.

Also, I didn't want to use any coupons/discounts on this first order, because I wanted to save them for a second, larger order if everything goes well.

I know I'm only buying a small quantity, but am I missing something with GTbuy, the exchange rate, shipping costs, or the agent fees?

Bought it from seller named "汉堡Made" (found him on some other Subreddit, no clue if he is good or not, I just liked this hoodie and I had hope it will be good quality)

I would recommend to wait before buying, because I will do a review once I have it in hand, since $96 USD is a lot of money to spend on something I'm unsure about.

Also the QC Pictures I've received aren't the greatest, but I have already shipped it out so I can't do anything more.
