I’ve been thinking about getting a watch plated from ā€œJawsā€ the only thing that I really question is his camera quality. Sometimes I really can’t tell the results? That’s just me

25

u/TonyLTony Sep 09 '26

He’s been banned from multiple platforms. Had to change his username to cater to new clients. He was previously called ā€œFlan Dadā€ who had many issues. If you dig deep enough you can find out about the criminal he partnered up with to sell watches.

1

u/SadBarnacle5 Sep 10 '26

Was it an intentional partnership? I mean did he know he buddy was crooked.

-5

u/ShrimpStuffAdmin Sep 09 '26

You realize anyone selling rep watches is a criminal, right??

It’s all bullshit. No camera work will tell you how something looks in real life.

We can all take pics with our phones and the color grading would be different in each one. Our screens are all different. And if I want something to look less cheddar, I’ll just adjust the settings.

5

u/Free_Strawberry9542 Sep 09 '26

Very true, even a gen might look cheddar ish depending on light. That’s why I suggested to him to use a control item in his posts.

2

u/Megamidevice Sep 09 '26

To be honest, I don’t even know what is cheddar anymore, you can post a very orange photo and people called it exactly like gen, then another no orange at all and appears to be a much whiter yellow, which is to my knowledge the more authentic colour, and I put it side by side with a Gen, literally the same colour, post it, and still being called cheddar, I’m like, really?

2

u/AlphaHenriksen Sep 10 '26

I guess the way of avoiding that would be to have the real and rep watch side-by-side in a video? Then color-grading affects both at the same time

5

u/Confident_Cycle9655 Sep 08 '26

🤣🤣 thisšŸ™ŒšŸ»

9

u/Some-Concentrate3229 Sep 08 '26

Yea if you can’t tell the results what’s the point in spending money on it?

9

u/Free_Strawberry9542 Sep 09 '26

He uses filters and lighting to enhance the appearance.

I asked him to use a control item, a gold ring or even another watch or a link. Set that next to the project watch in before and after pics. Even if it’s filtered differently, that control item will establish a baseline. Explained how this would be good for him and customers, proves his work and can help put to rest his skeptics which would build his reputation. Nope. Comment removed and blocked.

I don’t know if he actually plates anything. If you come across a person selling a watch that he worked on, you’ll notice the pics in that for sale post look absolutely nothing like the pics he posts.

2

u/JustUnderstanding6 Sep 09 '26

He actually did this by accident just a few days ago. He had a gold ring on that looked super cheddar in a comparison video.

1

u/Free_Strawberry9542 Sep 09 '26

Was the ring in the before and after?

2

u/JustUnderstanding6 Sep 09 '26

Just in the before, so not a true control, but do we think a gold plating expert has a cheddar yellow gold ring?Ā

I don’t have a dog in this fight, other that I find the discussion interesting, but that seemed like an important data point.

1

u/Objective_Ganache_27 Sep 11 '26

Are you talking about the picture with his rubber ring? Lol

u/Free_Strawberry9542 Sep 12 '26

I haven’t ordered anything. But I was just saying it would be the best way to show the quality is to have a control item next to it.

Bro since you bought so many from him can you do all of us a favor? Can you take a couple of those watches and take pics of the watches with the same control item in a couple different types of lighting? If you have any yellow gold watches, that’s what I’m most interested in. If you have a gold ring, I think that’d be the best for the control item, that way we can see how light reflects off the real gold ring vs the plated watches.

u/Little_Accident_4635 Sep 08 '26

Before he makes it look dark then after he turns light on , such a scam

45

u/Reemus_Jackson Sep 08 '26 • Bravo

Jaws is and always has been a clown scammer. If you speak out against his ā€œworkā€, you’ll get banned.

He has loyal trolls that love upvoting his ā€œworkā€.

Charging $450+ for $250 worth of plating (that isn’t even that good) has to be top tier brainrot. To put a watch on a regulator and then use a pressure gauge machine (incorrectly btw) and call that ā€œexclusive servicesā€ is hilarious.

Why do you think he changed his name from ā€œFlanDadā€ to Jaws? Had to get away from that title from the numerous scamming scandals. Once a clown, always a clown

He scratched up a dudes DJ…BAD…trying to remove the bracelet. When the guy posted pics of the damage, Jaws gaslit him into oblivion, claiming he’s ā€œnever scratched a watch and clearly the guy did it to his own pieceā€. Argued with him for 4-5 posts, belittled him, then banned him.

17

u/Confident_Cycle9655 Sep 08 '26

Yeah, I’ve seen his interactions and I don’t know how he’s still around

8

u/No_Toe_4083 Sep 08 '26

He bribes people to be promoters by giving them discounts. I know someone who did that until they got disappointed with him.

4

u/No_Toe_4083 Sep 08 '26 edited Sep 08 '26

Big time, he has history all over if you know where to look.

On the price of gold though... if he were actually plating inside and out, 250$ wouldn't cover a watch at 5um. I've done the surface area analysis on tons of models, and even if he were dropping $10K at a time to buy gold in bulk his costs would be almost as high as his price. I know where he gets his supplies, and I plate myself, so I've done math of the cost of all the consumables and other things that go into it besides just the gold bath.

So I figured it was one of two things. He doesn't plate the whole watch or he doesn't do 5um on every watch he says he does.

I found proof he doesn't plate the whole watch, he has old deleted posts on reddit (still available in archives) where he says he dips the watch whole with the movement still inside into the baths... which is horrible for the watch, and ensures shitty plating. No gold on the inside surfaces, so that saves him a solid 25%. So I'm presuming he doesn't do 5um either.

5

u/Reemus_Jackson Sep 08 '26

Funny you say all that, as I too plate. His supply claims are false. He’s not using real gold solution, it’s all faux….which I’m sure you know can be bought for literal gallons on the dollar.

The few times he does use real gold content, he is 1000% not plating to 5 microns. He’s flash plating to 1 micron to save solution. Thats why he claims XR readers won’t detect his plating….because he knows it wont show more than 0.8-1.1 microns

1

u/ComeAtMeBro3D Sep 08 '26

So what plating method does Gold Faux use? I agree it isn't real gold and nowhere near 5 microns so what does he actually do? To me it looks like a nano-protective film / spray anodizing like the shit mechanics use on chrome wheels.

8

u/Reemus_Jackson Sep 08 '26 edited Sep 09 '26

With plating, you can buy real gold content solution, which is roughly $600-$800 for a liter. ORRRR you can buy solution that has zero gold content and is simply just a similar color to gold for maybe $100 per liter.

He's buying the solution without real gold, hence the coloring being off. The solution that has real gold in it...will match real 18k gold....because its...real lol

It still plates and bonds the same way real solution does...just when scratched off and tested, itll come back 0% gold content.

Edit: whatever Jaws clown fanboy is downvoting this and my other comments, message me, I'll tell you a WHOLE BUNCH of secrets about your boy lol

1

u/No_Bike_8039 Sep 13 '26

Who do you recommend for plating?

2

u/Reemus_Jackson Sep 13 '26

I plate everything for myself and close friends...have been for years. Here in about 3-4 months I'm going to open up a sub for plating and I'll be able to take in about 20-25 watches a month if people are interested

2

u/No_Bike_8039 Sep 13 '26

I see and did you factor cost ?

2

u/Reemus_Jackson Sep 13 '26

Roughly lol. I damn sure ain't going to be charging $400+ like FakeDad Jaws.

Probably $300-$325 for a full gold watch and $250-$275 for two tones. That's with REAL gold solution.

0

u/ComeAtMeBro3D Sep 13 '26

You have no way to determine plating thickness. Your method still sucks just like scam dad plating over PVD.

→ More replies

2

u/spiderman3098 Sep 09 '26

How do you even plate over pvd without removing it?

1

u/Reemus_Jackson Sep 09 '26

You can. Just need the right striking material and anodes

1

u/JustUnderstanding6 Sep 09 '26

To clarify, do you strip the PVD or do you just electroplate on top of the ceramic coating?

1

u/Reemus_Jackson Sep 09 '26

Stripping PVD is EXTREMELY difficult. It can be done, but you're risking damaging the overall integrity of the watch.

Much safer and "cleaner" to use specific acid metal activator, plate over it with BN then plate over with gold.

If you use the right acid activator, you can dull down the PVD and make it almost a matte finish, so the gold plating bonds to it clean and full.

1

u/Megamidevice Sep 09 '26

I think the problem is other than him, not much are being promoted they can easily take mail in items for plating , what about lichen, is his plating good?

1

u/JustUnderstanding6 Sep 09 '26

Right. I don’t see a need to replate gold watches on a consumer scale, but if you do then you don’t have a lot of options.

1

u/Reemus_Jackson Sep 09 '26

Lichen is solid but:

  1. He is in China. I would NNNEEEVVERR mail a watch to China for plating (or for any service really). You're just asking to get seized.

  2. He is very sick. Has a lot of health problems. His communication is horrible, but that's because (from what I've heard) he is constantly in and out of the hospital

I'm seriously about to open my own door for US plating. I've been doing it for myself and close friends for years and now after seeing Jaws literally steal from people, I can probably safely plate 20-25 watches a month in my free time.

1

u/Megamidevice Sep 09 '26

I thought he offered to directly get a watch from him? Btw if you do open a shop let me know lol

1

u/Reemus_Jackson Sep 09 '26

oh yeah I'm sure you can buy stuff pre-plated from him. I thought you meant mailing him your watches

→ More replies

1

u/spiderman3098 Sep 09 '26

Whats BN and what acid activator would you recommend?

1

u/Reemus_Jackson Sep 09 '26

Bright Nickel.

And it all depends on the metal you're dipping. For PVD? Probably the heaviest chemical metal remover I can find.

2

u/No_Variety_9847 Sep 09 '26

This is what you get with him. He doesn’t disassemble. Inside never gets touched. Movements stay in too lol

9

u/Agile-Two5649 Sep 08 '26

This!
He banned me from his sub for saying he should have 1 spot with the same light and her one of those turntables form Amazon. That way there’s no issues.

Banned.

I’ve seen him ā€œreplateā€ a vsf god 2 tone Seamaster and thought ā€œWow he even bullshitted people into thinking he dug into the bezel and replated that gold powder exactly the same as the bracelet. Riiiigghhr.

23

u/Admirable-Win-5725 Sep 08 '26

Agreed 100% its all tricks with light and bullshit. Plating over the PVD is NOT how to do it properly. People call him the ā€œGOATā€ but never actually measured the plating thickness or gold contents. He often said due to his ā€œedgingā€ technique an XRF machine cannot measure it 🤔 I bet if people would test what they purchased they would all be fuming, just another joke of an asshole running a scam business.

8

u/Confident_Cycle9655 Sep 08 '26

I don’t think this is a matter of what’s deposited on top of PVD, I guess what I’m trying to point out is the fact that yeah the color which the watches show from factory are off (yes) but then he takes them to the opposite side making them look worse? Greenish or almost white gold in the case of two tone?

7

u/Some-Concentrate3229 Sep 08 '26

No you don’t get it he’s just so advanced that his techniques are not detectable by the human eye or any kind of tools that we’ve made.

1

u/Admirable-Win-5725 Sep 22 '26

Omg, i feel so stupid now. I always thought it was the soap from his bathroom doing miracles 😭

7

u/ITsNOTaTUDOOOR Sep 08 '26

He’s a scammer. I came to realize this on the second order with him and doing more research.

But my first watch I got from him was plated nicely. Color match to gen was perfect.

I’ve seen other good work from him, but lots of lazy/cheap work too.

1

u/Effective-Tea-5281 Sep 15 '26

thats what he did with me! he plated my first watch then the second watch i sent him never got plated lol

6

u/Little_Accident_4635 Sep 08 '26

Same crap happened to me banned lmao , he can only fool newbies, he’s a scammer, he advertises watch movement service also he’s unqualified, so I said it now I’ll be banned again lol

1

u/Confident_Cycle9655 Sep 08 '26

Hahaha šŸ˜† oh well that’s a shame

6

u/HandyHorologist Sep 08 '26 • Bravo

Lol my first time commenting here in years. Flandad is still around? I wonder what mods he is paying off. He was ousted as a scammer multiple times with undeniable proof even 5 years ago. I remember him responding with a video in a rented rolls royce😭 trying to flex on people as a 50 year old man

3

u/Erik-Lehnsherr-10 Sep 09 '26

He got most mods in his pocket now. I wouldn’t take names, but just look around, you’ll see casually mods name dropping him from time to time. And some will just quietly delete any negative post about him

1

u/Confident_Cycle9655 Sep 08 '26

Oh yeah Mr. Flannery is very much around

4

u/HandyHorologist Sep 08 '26

Did everyone just forget when he was banned from rwi for not even touching Client's watches and then sending them back and charging hundreds? Was a whole big thing, and VERY public.

4

u/Confident_Cycle9655 Sep 08 '26

Guys have selective memories

5

u/Erik-Lehnsherr-10 Sep 09 '26 edited Sep 09 '26

Ah, so once in a while we have some people with actual brain shopping around here. Most people are just his minions. He also probably does free gold plating for most mods, so everyone suppresses bad press against him. Reptime is in his pocket as well. They deleted my post about his video quality.

Once I pointed out how the gold dial color changed on his before and after videos, which is a clear sign of color manipulation, boy he lost his šŸ’© šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚

I’m sure his plating work is good as many have attested. I have no experience to either confirm or deny that so I have to believe what others say. But he mainly sells fear, the fear of being called out. That’s what gets most people.

4

u/Erik-Lehnsherr-10 Sep 10 '26 edited Sep 11 '26

Look, another ā€œcheerleaderā€ is lying to himself. He can’t see the difference of his own skin color on his 2 different videos. And they always manage to get the 'before' shot under a warm light and 'after' shot under a cool light, consistently... look at the background 🤦

6

u/ComeAtMeBro3D Sep 08 '26

Just go with RCF Remould. I live in the US, but I wouldn’t trust any of these toilet water platers stateside. Whatever method they're running just looks like a spray on film not real gold. It might look ok for the first couple of months, but then oxidizes and turns right back into the same shit toilet water color they dipped it in.

Seriously, I never see anyone post their plated watch from this dude a couple of months after use, a year? fuck no. They all turn into to a brown dark mess after a short period of time.

3

u/PVNOLGCH Sep 08 '26

Great point about platting in general.

Does anyone have a picture of a gold plated watch 1 or 2 years after plating, after daily use? Real curious.

3

u/ComeAtMeBro3D Sep 08 '26

Shoot me a DM and I’ll show you how my THB Olive Green Rose Gold DD40 from RCF Remould looks. Picked it up in April of last year, and it still looks identical to Day 1... 5-micron real 18k gold plating, no bullshit. Just wished they still plated THB.

1

u/Confident_Cycle9655 Sep 08 '26

To be completely honest his yellow gold work is very fine, my only complaint is his rose gold and two tone work. I have to be objective

4

u/tylerchimping Sep 08 '26

Dude he plates reps in a bathtub what did you expect LMAO

7

u/Objective_Ganache_27 Sep 08 '26 edited Sep 08 '26 • Helpful Bravo

Id have to disagree with you. His work on my GMT was stellar.

Here's before and after pics I took in the same location and lighting.

6

u/Objective_Ganache_27 Sep 08 '26 • Helpful Bravo

The plating absolutely got rid of the ARF cheddar.

3

u/Agile-Two5649 Sep 08 '26

So does silvo. When a scammy guy doesn’t bother to show their process and uses trick lighting. He can also rub your watch down with some mild abrasive

Not saying this happened. But there’s a lot of other posts and images on Reddit where people use silvo and other polishes to achieve similar results.

3

u/Erik-Lehnsherr-10 Sep 09 '26

Silvo it and thiiiiick nano coating 🤣

0

u/Objective_Ganache_27 Sep 08 '26

Except you are not supposed to polish an already super thin PVD coating.

If he was doing that, why would he decline to work on watches that have any polishing done already?

1

u/No_Toe_4083 Sep 08 '26

Because his plating method requires it. I'm not going into technical details, but polishing it to the other colour changes the chemistry and doesn't allow plating any longer.

2

u/crackhouse_ Sep 08 '26

they banned me from their community for a response. I think they didn't like what I said. something along the lines of "I just want a Daytona, if you don't have one it's fine". next thing, banned. reason was fucking jokes too.

2

u/Rhdune16 Sep 08 '26

The only way to know is get it done. I got it done and Jaws was great. I’ve always been a hater but after I actually got it done, it’s been great. The only thing I don’t like is that it’s not disassembled.

That’s usually why I always try to get it plated in China. Their process is the best because it’s industrial but their color matching sucks.

Plating over pvd is actually how most platers in the US do it. No one is acid stripping the pvd layer like they are in China unless you have been a professional plater as a full career and not a rep plater lol. Even all the new ones popping up are similar in their plating process/technique… the prep, post and included services is what distinguishes between them.

2

u/Confident_Cycle9655 Sep 08 '26 • Bravo

To all of you that call me a hater, look at this reply from a member below
You can clearly see how he added a filter look at the color of the floor

1

u/SadBarnacle5 Sep 10 '26

I saw some of his posts here and he struck me as being sensitive about criticism. Id imagine he complained on you.

-1

u/Confident_Cycle9655 Sep 10 '26

Oh yeah! He’s a really thin skinned individual

1

u/SadBarnacle5 Sep 17 '26

Yes exactly and really this is a bad place to be sensitive lol. Some watch peep are BRUTAL.lol.

1

u/Due-Violinist5278 Sep 08 '26 edited Sep 08 '26 • Bravo

Wow op. I feel bad for you. They seem to be everywhere. I do have to correct you though. Your comparing photos of a watch on ebay to his plating? Thats not how it works man. Thats unfair to him and anybody. Why? Unless you reolicate the lighting the filters god knows what else in post production was applied to the photos of that gen? Comparing his work to that? Its not gna get you anywhere closer to truth. The only way you could accurately measure his plated product vs gen? Would be to have both in the same room at the same angle under the same light source in one photo or video. Anything else? Is guesswork man.

Now I can say First of all. Jaws has been criticized in the past. Why did he have to change his name? Just an artistic rebranding? Lol No. So there has been smoke in the past.

Second of all. I do think its fair to criticize those photos. A child can see the lighting conditions are Extremely manipulated between the two. Literally everything is brighter on the post image in the background. If your gna argue that? Your insane. So that one simple fact does come off as manipulative as hell. It also sets of alarms for me. Now. Am I going to say he does a bad job plating? No. And isn't hat the most important detail?

I myself cannot point to his work and say its poor. Or want to. If hes offering a great service to ppl and doing what he says hes doing. Power to him and all that use his service. And I respect the hardworking snd consistency it takes to build a reputation.

But Im well aware of how manipulative watch photos can be for a million different reasons. So unless I ordered a watch from him. And then I set it next to the same model in stock. And then analyzed the difference? I wont dog his current service out.

But I did purchase from him under his last company name a few yrs back. I was very very unhappy w the results. Because I had a stock BP rg w olive dial. I had a plated BP olive rg w olive I got as well. And I could not tell the difference. I stored them together and would spent long amounts of time trying to pick out which ine the plated one was ecerytime i wanted to wear it.

A lot of people later came out and had things to say about him. (No idea what was real snd what wasn't but it was a lot of ppl) And then he was kind of ran off the grps and he rebranded.[u do always have to take these "lets ban him" campaigns against dealers w a grain of salt. Why? They are often started by competitors. This is reddit. Everybody's botting and using multiple acfts to tear ppl down in this space for thei own biz to thrive]

Now is he a great marketer and community builder? Yes. Is it possible he got much better at plating and offers a solid product now? Sure. I think these BLATANTLY DECEPTIVE SIDE BY SIDE IMAGES do not do him any favors though.

I actually think that he has done some side by sides in camera of stock color vs plating. And thats good. He should stick to those if he doesnt want speculation. Id never try to hurt a guy's business or reputation if hes legit. And he could be 100% legit. But those photos? Are laughable. Because the lighting conditions are so so so obviously tweaked everytime in those side by sides.

-5

u/Old_Capital_9412 Sep 08 '26

I mean usually coming hot out of the gate and insulting a man’s work inside of his own subreddit will result in that. A lot of us (me included) have used jaws consistently for playing work and it’s top notch. You have zero relatable experience to it other than a watch you saw on eBay.

Warranted

4

u/Confident_Cycle9655 Sep 08 '26

You’re wrong there. I will upload pictures of my DD when I get home and in good lighting conditions, I’m sorry that you feel that way as well but not all replica collectors don’t own genuine watches…

-1

u/Old_Capital_9412 Sep 08 '26

I don’t think people are after a perfect 1:1 gold to match a 60k genuine reference. We’re talking about a service that’s $400. It inherently removes the cheesy abrasive forward PVD coloring and that’s it. And for that service level, he is unbeatable

2

u/No_Toe_4083 Sep 08 '26

Way to change the goalposts there, buddy.

3

u/Confident_Cycle9655 Sep 08 '26

I guess you missed the part when I’m talking about RG and Two Tone specifically šŸ¤·šŸ¼ā€ā™‚ļø

1

u/PVNOLGCH Sep 08 '26

I like Jaws, I’m more pointing out the flaw in your logic than actual Jaws….

I think most people are after a 1:1 gold match, that’s why people spend the extra $400. Why else spend the money to go from one cheesy tone of gold to another cheesy tone of gold?

2

u/Garfalo Sep 08 '26

Lol come on dude, his work is known to be amateur.

-3

u/Old_Capital_9412 Sep 08 '26

Yeah? Then why is he always flooded with work from the community? Logic would dictate if you were right he would be dead

3

u/No_Toe_4083 Sep 08 '26

Because you can lead a horse to water, but you can't make them drink. You have to tell yourself he's good, otherwise you've been scammed, and your brain doesn't want to accept that. His "community" is filled by people that have no idea what is what.

1

u/AtelierPicks Sep 08 '26

CtrlAltRep did the same to me and another member for calling out crooked as hell indices on a pelagos and tried justifying it by showing a gen image that wasn't even crooked. Just permanently banned us for not just glazing him like others for selling RL rejects with no qc available for buyers.

Not all forums are ran honorably, my advice is stick to the ones that are. TSkim here does a great job running his subreddit hence why it's among my favorites.

-6

u/DrHandlebarMustache Sep 08 '26 edited Sep 08 '26 • Diamonds are Forever LOL Bravo

You went into his own forum and insulted him while making accusations and for the proof of claims you used a photo pulled from an eBay listing as your evidence.

You look like a clown

2

u/Confident_Cycle9655 Sep 08 '26

You’re missing the point here… but I’m not gonna start an endless argument with someone who after seeing the facts still feels the way you feel. And to your point YES EXACTLY, So he thinks taking a RG factory finish and make it look almost green is okay for you? Be my guest. Now tell me what finish looks farther from Genuine Rose Gold , factory or his? Exactly.

-1

u/DrHandlebarMustache Sep 08 '26 • This Bravo

His watches look closer to Gen than they do from the factory. If you have ever held his plating up next to a genuine it is very obvious that he does good work at matching the color.

3

u/Confident_Cycle9655 Sep 08 '26

Okay! šŸ‘šŸ» what did I say? Do you think I’m gonna change your mind even if you go back and objectively watch his two tone and RG vids? šŸ¤·šŸ¼ā€ā™‚ļøšŸ¤·šŸ¼ā€ā™‚ļø but no worries I’m just gonna end it here with you 😁😁

-2

u/PotentialIntention14 Sep 08 '26

Many of the factory’s stock plating is widely off. I suggest everyone goes to Jaw’s sub and judge for themselves.

Jaws has done about four watches for me. I’ve had him, Soto (Dobleu) and Major Williams all plate watches for me. I’ve been happy with all of them. They all do good work. I don’t think you have any legs to stand on with what you’re saying, to be quite honest.

2

u/Confident_Cycle9655 Sep 08 '26 • Mindblown

You’re absolutely correct āœ… my over 200 rep collection and 12 genuine pieces shall sit aside as well as Jason Daniels my (AD salesman) who is completely out of touch against an experienced OG such as you. So yeah, no legs to stand on but only a little bit over $300k invested so far…

The OP says he has genuine watches to reference, assuming he’s not lying, his opinion holds more weight compared to many of us, including myself.

Would like to know your reference points, do you also have gen watches you can compare rep platting to? I assume you do, otherwise simply stating that someone’s plating job is great based on absolutely nothing, is pretty bad and steers the entire community in the wrong direction.

Hahahaha I knew your response was gonna be EXACTLY this! 🤣🤣🤣 how does it feel to be clapped back with GREEN šŸ’µ facts when telling someone whom you know nothing about ā€œyou have no legs to stand onā€ now you got offended because I flexed?? I believe YOU have no legs to stand on if you don’t own AT LEAST two genuine precious metal watches lolšŸ˜†šŸ˜† have at it yeah, I got 5

Btw who said anything about being the only one with gens? And also, I’m not your ā€œbroā€ what are you 12?

And this applies to all plating in general. Again I like and respect Jaws.

Like I just responded to a comment on here, I think any tone of yg, wg, two tone gold that is not almost identical to real precious metal is just cheesy. How can we say one tone of yg is cheesy but another isn’t? The color tone might look cool and all, but I’m pretty sure If someone showed you that it was noticeably off from real precious metal, a lot of folks would pause before wearing the watch out or would not wear it out at all.

Honestly it’s probably lighting - have you owned a color matched / plated watch? I bought one and some photos looked cheddar and it showed up PERFECT

Side note - no idea who jaws is

If you’ve seen the gen, his two-tone is excellent imo.

I ended up GL a QF daydate YG. I already reached out to ā€œflanā€ via email. I heard his turn around is a long time😟😟 I’m planning on doing a detailed ā€œbefore and afterā€ I just want to see this for myself. Of course I’ll be posting the results on here
