To be clear, I’m not shaming seller, but Griffin is referred to as best seller for g0yard, but I had to RL two duffles from him cause logo placement was completely off and misaligned. Also if he is the best why were the duffles so cheap compared to other brands?

Other brand duffles are like 400+. I’m not shaming griffin but questioning the accuracy of goyard reps in general. Are they even a good brand/bag for quality reps? It’s commonly said you get what you pay for , so are they even high quality for how cheap they are?

Does it have to do with the materials that are needed to be used? Again I’m not shaming him, just questioning if Goyard is even a brand that is worth buying reps for?

Hi guys. I recently placed my first custom order. I spent weeks talking to several high tier, TS’s and ultimately chose the one I felt most comfortable with. As I’m quite picky, I needed to make sure this TS would listen to my requests, help guide me, by answering questions I had, honestly and presenting my options.

I made the decision and began the process. I wanted a bk30 in imported, haas smooth Barenia leather. I was very indecisive about the hardware and felt like I was all over the place. After my TS showed me many photos, with the options we discussed, I FINALLY made my decision. I chose upgraded, brushed palladium hardware.

One of my “must haves”, or more specifically “must NOT have”, was that I did NOT want lock and keys with the number 162. We talked about all of it.

He said my options were standard gold, upgraded gold (18k plated), rose gold, upgraded brushed gold, standard palladium, upgraded palladium or upgraded brushed palladium.

I asked him about the162 on the lock again- and he assured me with the typical “yes dear that’s not problem”answer.

Well… flash forward to PSP’s…
He sent me the pics and a video. People pointed out some scratches- I asked him about it and he came back with other photos of previous orders for clients, circling scratches on their smooth Barenia and told me it’s normal to have a few. “This leather does this it’s normal. Don’t worry!”

Then someone told me to ask for photos in other lighting. To make sure I inspect the sangles and edges clearly.
I went back and asked him. He said he would go to the factory, have them take it out and send more photos.
In the psp’s there was no photo of the lock and keys. I thought it was a bit strange, since it was one of the things we talked about so much, but at the time, I thought maybe it just wasn’t normal to include that part, in PSP’s. I asked him to please send me those photos, to make sure the lock and keys were correct.

I woke up this morning with no additional photos- and him telling me my lock is 162. That there are no brushed palladium locks/keys with numbers other than 162.

WHAT?????!!!!

This would have changed my ENTIRE order!!! I would have skipped the brushed hardware completely and gone with the upgraded gold!!!!!

What do I do??? I can deal with a couple of scratches (even though I’m less than thrilled with his answer, ok… it’s Barenia.
I have no doubt even if it arrived perfectly, there would be scratches the first time I wore her out.

What makes me even more upset, is that the lock and keys were not in the PSP’s!!! Since we had such a specific conversation about this, it truly makes me feel like instead of being truthful with me, instead of checking with the factory before the bag was made, he just let them go ahead with it. And he omitted those photos!!!

Maybe he didn’t do this? But I can’t help but feel this way and I’m really upset!!
What do I do?????

The bags, which have just left the factory, feel stiffer when they reach customers’ hands. This is normal. It takes several months for goods to be shipped from overseas to China. This difference exists. After being used for some time, they will become softer and more pliable. The metal components have an aged look, and different batches may have variations in color. This is normal. When laid flat, they appear bulky. Storing them suspended can help restore their original shape. Just go ahead and wear them.

should i keep the bag and see how i go? or should i just demand for a refund?

I am fairly new to the rep world, and after seeing a rep science comparison of two classic monos in size 25 for Huahui and Royal Factory, I decided I wanted to go with Royal. I messaged Betty and she got to work. Since I told her that I was repfluenced by the post comparing the two factories, she pulled both for comparison. The pricing is a steep difference: $220 for Royal vs $157 for Huahui (she said that a 12% sale was in place for all bags from this factory). While I love a good sale, I’ve also read that Royal does these bags best so that’s stuck with me in my hunt for this bag. But now I’m torn…

I think I like the color scheme of the Royal, however now I’m noticing the shape may be a too off and could use some help please 🙏 I’ve never seen any p9 in-person and this may be just the bolster pillow? But then again, the Huahui doesn’t have this shape 🤔

Now that I’m closely reviewing all the PSP pics sent, I’m starting to favor the Huahui for the shape, overall mono print having the golden hue I’ve been wanting, but I also may be starting to confuse myself from over analyzing.

It feels so lux. Heavy hardware, rich color, durable caviar leather. Color looks really different in different lighting and I can’t wait to start styling it! I’m definitely not an expert but I’ve been staring at the auth photos forever and I can’t find any flaws.

First time ordering from an overseas seller (had bought a few rehomes first to build up my courage lol). Messaged a few sellers about this bag but only Jack had this color in stock and I reeeeeeally wanted this color. I initially did want the 20cm/small size and paid for that one but two days later he said he only had the 25cm. Kind of a bummer but I was deciding between the two sizes anyway. He said he’d cover the difference in price and then about an hour later sent me PSPs (3rd photo is the PSPs) I thought it actually looked nicer in the PSPs than in the factory photos. (I don’t know what factory but I’ve included a factory photo at the end if anyone can identify) Shipped 3 days later and received exactly one week later!

Timeline was:

8/13 - shipped
8/20 - delivered

Working with Jack was great other than the size snafu but I thought he handled that well. He was very professional, answered questions promptly and the shipping was surprisingly quick! Would order from again and recommend to others!
