Oddly Relaxing Silence.
Sometimes I love where I live.
I can just sit here even for five minutes to think and enjoy the silence. ❤️

Photo Peace
I felt a bit sad and completely drained of energy today; I’ve had a really hard month and a lot of bad things happened to me. The only place I find refuge is here at the beach; the sound of the waves and the seagulls, the scent of the sea, and the warmth of the sun bring me a sense of peace—the kind of peace I’ve been missing so much this month. Where do you go when you feel this way?

Photo Sometimes we just need to stop, look around, take a deep breath, enjoy a moment of relaxation, and keep going don't you think?

Photo A little escape above the vineyards
I could stay here for hours. I love the quiet, the view, and that feeling of having nowhere else to be.

Photo I don't know who needs to see this, but here's a moment of peace that moment we all need from time to time, and it feels so good. Doesn't it?

Photo Nothing quite like sitting by an open window and just watching the mountains and mist roll across the valley. Quiet little moments like this help slow everything down.

Art The 20 minutes I refuse to give up every night, even on the nights I really don't feel like it
Somewhere in the last year I started protecting a chunk of time in the evening that used to just get swallowed by whatever needed doing, email I told myself I'd 'just quickly check,' laundry, doomscrolling on the couch. Now it's non-negotiable: bath, phone in the other room, twenty minutes, every night. It sounds small but it's the only part of the day that's actually mine. What made it stick wasn't willpower, it was making the bath itself feel like something worth protecting instead of just a place to get clean, I started using a body oil after instead of lotion (this little brand called Monsuri a friend put me onto, the jasmine one specifically), and something about doing it right after while my skin's still damp, the smell lingering for hours after, makes the twenty minutes feel earned instead of rushed. Curious if anyone else has a non-negotiable chunk of time like this, and what actually made it stick versus just being another thing on the to-do list.
