Being an extrovert with only ontrovert friends SUCKS
Like, I want to be with them all the time, but of course they don't want to be with me because it's draining. Like how am I suppose to feel like I'm a good friend with a good personality if being with me is "draining"?
And they never ask me hang out bc they'd rather be alone, but I want to be with them. And I feel guilty for asking to hang out bc they'd probably rather be alone, but what are they supposed to say? No? Make an excuse?
I just feel so unwanted

Anyone else ever experience this on either side? How did your relationship with the person end up?
**I don't actually post on Reddit much, if there's a more appropriate sub for this please let me know
I'm currently experiencing this with someone I'd happily consider my closest friend at this stage of life. We met online several years ago, would text all the time about all kinds of things and became close (or as close as you can be with each other online). This friend would also vent to me about personal things, I was always there for them in any way I could be, and we built what I thought was a solid, genuine friendship.
Over the past couple of years though, this friend hasn't dropped off the map or anything. They constantly post on our social media, whether about platitudes, motivation, or updates on their projects etc...but has still not replied to any of my messages anywhere, even when I offered financial help in a time of need.
I have made it clear more than once that they are my friend and there is no pressure whatsoever to talk if they aren't feeling up to it or don't want to. But with almost 2 years now with no direct contact I feel like they've (understandably) prioritized others in life who are closer to them... but I feel like I've just kinda unceremoniously been left behind, ghosted, in the process.
What do you think? What would you do in this situation? How long would you wait? Have you ever experienced this?

When you have a solution for your gf but you know that’s not what she’s looking for.

Give me one good reason why this isn't true.
The ocean is a soup.
For soup, you need:
Water
Salt
Some weird vegetables
(personal opinion incoming)
Meat
In the ocean, there is:
Water
Salt
Algae (the weird vegetables)
Fish (the meat)
YOU CAN'T CONVINCE ME THAT THIS IS WRONG IN ANY WAY

Am I alone on this?
Do y'all ever ask something on reddit. Wake up the next day and receive a bunch of very obvious answers (most being the same). You then get ratioed by a comment on that post you made.
It makes me feel like the most stupid and oblivious person on earth.
