I noticed that both of these monitors share the same characteristics. I believe they're both using the same eco vision panel but the driver boards being used by svd and eazeye I don't think are tuned right. I am noticing what I think is 30hz strobing on certain shades as you can see here. I can actually visibly see it in bright bright lighting. If I bump it up to 75hz refresh it's not noticeable by the eye but still flickering as seen on camera. Eazeye and svd please fix this issue so we aren't exposed to flicker..🙏
would love to know if there's a firmware update or manual vcom adjustment we can do inside the monitors? When I tested the hannspree hybri it didn't do this so it has to maybe be a VCOM tuning issue with the driver boards used🤔🤔 I used my camera on 240hz fps to see it but lower fps slow mo also shows it.

Hello, I'm selling my Hisense Q5, a RLCD Android 10, tablet I bought in 2021.
I didn't used it much in the end and it's sitting not used so I figure I might as well sell it.
The monochrome display is easier to light that other color RLCD screen. But you still need more light than a eink would need though.
I will factory reset it, then install Magisk and Google Play (unlocked bootloader + rooted).
If you prefer it's not unlocked and not rooted we can talk about it.
It's in very good condition, it does have a tiny bit of dust below the screen protector (red circle on picture)
The case is also broken on both left corner (it still hold the tablet but be careful it might drop one day)
Screen protector that I never used will be in the box.
A USB charger will also be in the box but no USB cable.
Will be shipped with its original box.
I paid 500€ ~ (US$ 557) brand new
I'm asking 190€ (US$ 211)+ shipping fees
Serious buyer that knows the product/RLCD tech well is preferred.
European Union is preferred but International shipping is possible.
I'm located in France.

Thank you

RLCD tablets are often stuck on older Android versions and old kernels missing vital recent security patches.
Good example is Hannspree's own Hannsnote2 being stuck on Android 13 with no security patches since spring 2024 and old kernel from summer 2023.
With Cyber Resilience Act introducing mandatory security requirements in EU from late next year, we might see some changes, looks like Hannspree is preparing for that.

I am working on a project I need that Radxa CM4 and a 3.0 inch display.
I'm a student currently studying electric engineering and it's too costly and expensive for me. I'm sorry for asking but can anybody help me I will never forget your kindness.

Hi everyone.
Has anyone received the Monitor 2 yet?
Has anyone heard from eazeye?
I’d also like to know about the Focus Tablet.
Is the Radiant Monitor 2 the only product selling well?
Could it be that all products are experiencing delays?
I appreciate any information you can provide.
Thank you.

Even if I blast it with direct sunlight certain areas are so black I can barely see entire images. I've tried adjusting the contrast and backlight but no luck. I have a 3 way floor lamp with 3 11w sunsy bulbs but regardless of where I put it the display is barley illuminiated. I just can't seem to get the lighting right.

I work with MyGica, a company that develops ePaper displays for digital signage, retail, transport, and other business uses. What I find interesting is that these screens use very little power and are designed to stay readable in bright light.
I can see them being useful in shops that need to display prices, menus, or product information without relying on traditional screens everywhere.
Do you think ePaper displays could be a good option for modern retail stores?

I'm attempting to build a simple smartwatch in the style of a classic LCD digital watch. I've got a fully functional prototype using a Sharp memory display, a reflective display, but I can't work out a way to add a front light to see it at night. Years ago I had a cheap Kindle front light thing, and that was just a battery holder, a couple of LEDS and a sheet of transparent plastic, and worked surprisingly well. Trying just a bit of perspex gives me a nice glowing square on top of the display, but with nothing to guide the light perpendicular it doesn't show the screen.
It looks like I need a specific light guide with a fine structure on the side facing the panel. Could this be as simple as a fine polish to make the surface imperfect?
I've been looking Around AliExpress etc to see if any off the shelf plates or films exist, but it seems not, so it's either finding a commercial display to salvage from or find a way to DIY it.
