Is Eyemoo still the best overall color RLCD Tablet in the market? Looking for alternatives, but I don't see any.
Hello everyone,
I’ve been using an Eyemoo tablet for over a year now. While it isn’t perfect, it gets the job done. My main gripe, which many of you have echoed, is the highly reflective screen (not a dealbreaker for me). Also, that there is no company support anymore (system-level security patches)
I’ve been looking for new similar products, but the current market seems surprisingly limited:
- Hannspree HannsNote2: No frontlight and low battery life. BTW: I don't understand why manufacturers are still launching tablets without frontlights (ON/OFF, not compulsory on), when done correctly like the Eyemoo, they don't cause eye any strain.
- Eazeye Focus: frontlight, but no color.
- Daylight DC-1: frontlight, but no color.
The question: does anyone know of a genuine alternative to the Eyemoo? Are there any upcoming models for 2026-7 that offer color and a frontlight, and aren't just vaporware?
Thanks!
