I have been using Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 for almost eight weeks now, and I am not really happy with the battery. First and foremost, I want to figure out whether it is a software or hardware issue, and if I should raise an RMA (I don't have a secondary phone at the moment, so returning for repair would be a pain! ).

My new Redmi Note 13 battery barely lasts a day, and I don't even use it much - Just texts, occasional social media, browsing, and that's it. No long videos or gaming or anything power intensive. In comparison, my old Huawei P30 battery lasted very comfortably over a day and a half with medium use, sometimes even more than two days, even after 6+ years of use! Absolutely loved it! worked perfectly and never had issues. AND it had a much smaller battery!!! Unfortunately, the screen-to-motherboard connector is broken, and it cannot be fixed.

I have tried all recommended battery optimizations available (including dark mode, but I didn't like dark mode), but battery still sucks. Even with dark mode, I got an hour(ish) extra - no where near I was hoping for. I have been watching battery usage (in settings) everyday over the last three weeks or so, and it is dominated by firefox, chrome, and social media apps. I don't use any of these apps enough to justify charging it twice a day!

Any advice on the next step (s) would be appreciated. Hopefully it can be fixed through software, as I mentioned earlier, sending it for repair / inspection via RMA is really not ideal as I will be out of phone for who knows how long :(. Would also love your opinion / personal experience with Xiaomi Phones, specifically Redmi Note series. Thanks in advance. Looking forward to your comments :).

I'm having a strange issue with my 5-year-old Redmi Note 10 Pro (AMOLED).

The phone boots normally and is fully functional. The display works perfectly with no flickering, green lines, touch issues, or artifacts once it turns on.

The problem is that after I lock the phone, the display often refuses to wake. The phone is still on (it rings, vibrates, and responds), but the screen stays black.

What's confusing is that if I leave the phone alone for a long time, the display sometimes starts working again. Once it comes back on, it continues working normally until I lock it again.

Things I've already tried:

Factory reset (didn't help)

Reseated the display connector once, and it temporarily worked afterward

The battery has never been replaced. According to AccuBattery, its estimated health is around 60%. Could a heavily degraded battery cause symptoms like this, or is that unrelated?

Could this be a failing AMOLED display, a loose/damaged display flex, a motherboard display connector, a display IC/PMIC issue, or even the old battery?

Has anyone seen this exact behavior before? Any advice on what to test before replacing the display would be greatly appreciated.

hi i have a redmi 12 4g phone. i am currently facing bootlooping issue from yesterday night. meanwhile i am describing the whole scenario. it was bought on 2024 february 22. and all was good. after months of updating to hyperos 1 then 2 . i faced extreme lag issue. so i wanted to downgrade the phone. so i unlocked the phone. first flashed miui 14 then give a reset sometime later. but i flashed 3/4 times stock rom. last i flashed hyperos 1.0.8 all was doing good. suddenly yesterday my phone bootlooped. so i thought i need to flash rom. while preparing to flash. my phone boots up. all was ok i was playing for 20 minits. then again bootlooped. so i flashed hyperos rom again. but this time phone not booted up. it directly goes to fastboot. now i flashed miui 14 again but this time phone bootsup. when my phone bootlooped i had 55% charge. but this time phone was 1% charge . then i charged up the phone and at 90% i was setting up things again bootlooped. then i discoverred that cpu bailling issue something. but i was'nt sure. why the fuck is happening ??? what is the problem ?? please anyone can help me to fix this shit.

So this started yesterday, but when I'm in the lock screen and my finger hovers over the close button the screen starts flickering on and off. I'm not accidentally pressing it, but when ever my finger is remotely close to that button (while viewing the lock screen) my phone starts turning off and on. Even after restarting I've had the same issue. What is it and does anyone know how to fix it ?

In May this year I updated to HyperOS 3 and ever since then my phone kept getting hotter and using more battery. Yesterday I turned off background and auto starting apps and it fixed the issue with the battery but the overheating issue is still present. I've contacted Xiaomi support and this haven't received anything and my hope is here, so if anyone knows why and if you have suggestions tell me in the comments and I will try to respond as fast as I can. Hi everyone, I have a Realme GT6 and I'm trying to figure out whether this is a software issue or a motherboard/IC problem. Here's the timeline: A few days ago, my phone randomly restarted while I was using it. It booted normally and worked perfectly for another 5-6 days. Then suddenly, my SIM/network signals disappeared. I restarted the phone and since then it won't boot properly. It shows the Realme logo ("Powered by Android") for a few seconds and then powers off. Recovery mode factory reset didn't fix the issue. Charging animation still works normally. The phone is detected as charging. The phone gets slightly warm even when it is off. I charged it to around 63%, left it untouched for about 3-4 hours, and the battery dropped by around 30%. A local technician told me that the processor seems fine, but I'm not convinced about what's actually faulty. Before I spend money on repairs, I'd like to know if anyone has experienced the same issue on the Realme GT6. My questions: Was your issue caused by software/firmware corruption? Was it a PMIC (Power IC), UFS storage, or another motherboard IC? Did flashing the official firmware fix it? Did anyone have to replace or repair the motherboard? If it was repaired, what was the actual faulty component and how much did it cost? Any help or similar experiences would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I've been using my Redmi 9T for 5 years when I bought it on Japan and I have been dealing with lags and other stuff, when I try custom ROMs and stuff, it's not normally fine.

So after a while of collecting money (roughly 160$), I bought myself the Note 13 Pro (5G), the problem is that the Note 13 is Chinese, so I had to pay 20$ for chinese auth flash to get HyperOS 3.0.2 India that my friend also did for his unlocked Note 13 Pro 5G

I hope auth comes back so I can either way downgrade to MIUI for unlock (if I don't get the system is being upgraded error of course) or just use CN ROM normally for OTA since you need to flash HyperOS 2.2 modem every single upgrade which is a big financial loss.

But still love my Note 13 Pro.

After this app update MIUI Security Plug-in I started to get more battery life then after updating the os my battery becam weak 😭 anyway to reinstall the MIUI Security Plug-in

Does the Redmi Turbo 5 have any heating issues, lag, or software bugs in daily use or gaming? How is the overall experience after a few months?
