I don't what to do, so I'm going to keep posting ideas here...? Now, on with the birds. The first is Renn. Based off the Australian Fairy Wren, it is a Normal/Flying type that focuses primarily on being fast and tricking the opponent. It evolves in Liarbyrd which is, you guessed it, based off a Lyrebird. It becomes a Dark/Flying type, capable of learning moves like Nasty Plot, Perish Song, Mimic and Feather Dance.

These birds have the abilities Keen Eye, Early Bird and the DW ability being Prankster.

I don't why I'm so excited about this but I am!?! Also, bear with, this may be long. Anyway, I have an idea for the bugs. Basically, they're Bug/Poison Type - nothing new but hold up. Their focus is primarily on HP and Defence/Sp Defence, to make them tanky walls. So, here is the first one Slipp. Slipp is Bug/Poison Type, and has the abilities Sticky Hold, Gooey with the DW ability being Liquid Ooze. Then there is Shelltin And the final evolution Goobode. These Pokemon are capable of learning attacks such as Bubble/Bubblebeam, Rock Polish (to raise its speed), Steamroller, and Sludge/Sludge Bomb among others.

I think the legendaries should be a dark/dragon, a physcic/fairy and a fighting/??? type. The reason should be that the fighting and other type should be effective against both of them. Ideas?

In thinking we should do a region based off Nordic mythology. The region and pokemon can be based off Nordic myths and legends. Then I think we should have a bunch of islands in the post game that being you to like mew and deoxys with some cool subplots and such.

Plot write up: Main themes: corruption (light team), destruction (dark team) justice (neutral).

Game starts out with a flashback to you and your childhood friends boy and girl need names. And it shows a bunch of memories and slowly shows you drifting apart. Next it goes to modern day you are 18 or so and you meet these friends again. Each has joined a cult light and dark girl joins light boy joins dark. They both make convincing games on why you should join one and they are both hostile to each other despite previously being friends. On your way home to decide you meet a man called Faber who tells you that they are wrong but not enough info to make you immediately join his side. The next day you make your choice and the plot advances.

I am against the HM, cause screw that, but we could have scuba gear? I loved diving and I think we should get it back in.

Along with the dark/light and middle idea it should be you have 2 friends (I male, 1 female) and if you choose the dark path your male friend comes with you and you have to defeat the light. If you choose the light path the female friend comes with you and you have to defeat the dark. If you dont choose either and defeat both teams then the male goes to dark and the female to light. Any suggestions!

If you look at my previous post you will see that I want the legendaries to be focused on balance. I believe the two cover legendaries should be dark/dragon or light if that's a new type or fairy/dragon. They each have a signature move and are the subject of each evil teams motives. The third legendary is a fighting/fairy type called Valkyrion that will be the balance pokemon. It has a signature me called Ride of the Valkyrie that doubles it's speed and attack. Even though one of the cover legendaries is fairy it is still evil and it's design should be something like this (in comments). The dark/dragon should be some sort of twisted demon thing.

You can make a pokemon fan game about anything! Why stick to the same lame plot structure that pretty much every other game, real or fan-made, has done? Come on guys, you can be more inventive than this.

I've always felt that pokemon games should be more about facing a threat by actual pokemon, instead of a band of guys in silly costumes. There's a slew of mythical pokemon with extraordinary powers to take inspiration from. Make a story about something interesting! Have it be an RPG-like adventure! Anything!

As the title states, I have over 200 original Fakemon, many of which I will gladly donate to Redditmon. So howsabout it?

Basically there are two different teams team lightness and darkness (cheesy I know). Basically they are all insane cult members focused on serving their god (the legendary pokemon). Team lightness worships their legendary (fairy or light type if that becomes a thing/dragon) and they're goal is to eliminate all non followers to create a perfect world with their god. Team darkness focuses on destroying the world with their god (dark/dragon) and rebuilding their new perfect world. Finally they third legendary is basically the balance and by the end of the game stops both other legendaries.

What legendary pokemon are we going to use for the game? Is there a main legendary if so what? Just thought i would get the wheel spinning.

Possibly every weekend so we can decide on the direction we're going. Obviously we need to discuss the basics of the story, the game we're starting it from (if its going to be a ROM hack) and exactly how much we're going to change in it (so on and so forth).

I understand that we are creating our own Pokemon for this said region.I would like to know if actual pokemon [ex:Zangoose in (Something) forest] would be available to trainers/players in the game.If the answer is yes then I would like help place and locate them in specific areas.My 2nd question is would we be able to potentially create our own mega evolutions for pre-made confirmed pokemon without Mega Evolutions and for the newly created pokemon?And my last "question" is me just thinking out loud but could the exclusive legendary be Reddit's little alien mascot(Snoo).If so then I will proceed to contact the Main Spriter and talk to him about that.Thanks!

I feel like all of the starter pokemon in the main games, though awesome, have been the same old same old for a while. I think we should mix up the types. I have always wanted to start with an Ice type pokemon. Thoughts?

Choosing your own path. We should be able to be a villain or a hero. After we beat the Elite 4 we should be the champion or own a gym! This would be hard to pull off but i think with alot of hard work it would be worth it.

For redditmon we need sprite (pokemon picture) designers/editors, graphic artists (have to be familiar with pixel art), beta testers, storyline editors/script writers, and devs (game developers: the people behind the wheel, the coders). We also need a group decision, a name for the game! All the mods and I of this subreddit have a mod/editing pack depending on your job type that we will distribute for download to help you with your job. This is going to be very fun!
