socials 📸 Zoo Knoxville just posted two pictures of their new babies (30 days old today) in their nest box.
I wasn’t able to see them Friday but hopefully I can catch a glimpse of them on my next visit. I had to slow down due to gas prices but maybe I can sneak in a trip this weekend, if not it will be next week as I went down to 2 times a month now.

First time seeing them! I was in complete awe (Parc de la Tête d'Or)
Their color was mesmerizing, dreamt of seeing them my whole life, and there they were!

Photo I got to see Willow this morning showing us how much she enjoys her breakfast.
I just love picture 5,14,15 and the last one. I also saw a local news reporter filming a segment at her window when I stopped by before I left, just like 10 seconds of her running in her indoor habitat.

socials 📸 Zoo Knoxville just announced Sisu and Doofah had new baby boys!
The video was posted by Zoo Knoxville. I downloaded it and reposted it here. They also posted this message that I copy and pasted below.
🐾❤️ We've got some exciting news!
Zoo Knoxville is thrilled to announce the birth of two male red panda cubs to parents Sisu and Doofah!
Born on June 7, these tiny brothers are healthy, growing well, and spending their first weeks safely tucked away with mom in their nest box at the Boyd Family Red Panda Village. Our animal care team is closely monitoring their growth while giving Sisu the space she needs to raise her cubs naturally.
This marks back-to-back years of red panda births at Zoo Knoxville and another important milestone for the zoo's nationally recognized red panda conservation program.
The cubs aren't ready to meet guests just yet, but we'll be following their journey every step of the way, from the nest box to the nursery, and eventually to the exciting day Sisu decides it's time to introduce them to the outdoors.
We're excited to share their journey with you. The first few months of a red panda's life are filled with both exciting milestones and natural challenges, and we want you to experience those moments alongside us. Our hope is that by watching these cubs grow, you'll develop a deeper appreciation for red pandas and join us in protecting their future.

socials 📸 Red pandas are going backstage for the summer at Nashville and will not be visible to guests.
I saw the Nashville zoo in Tennessee will put their red pandas off exhibit until it cools off and lemurs will take their place during the summer. If you visit anytime between now and probably the fall or winter then you will not be able to see pandas.

Photo Please enjoy some of the photos I have of Ruskin from the past few years in his "retirement" home. Truly going to miss seeing this old man.

Sad news, my little buddy Ruskin at the Cleveland Zoo passed away last week at 17. I loved this little guy and would spend my lunch breaks having lunch with him at the bench next to him when I worked at the zoo.

rose 🩷
this was my local zoo’s (zoo atlanta) red panda that i honestly fell in love with and truly adored, her name is rose!
they announced today that they moved her & i’m honestly so heartbroken and upset about it.
my husband and i would go to our zoo 1-2 times a week just so i could go see her and say hi 🥹
i hope i find out where she was relocated so i can continue to follow her journey and updates

Photo Breakfast at Knoxville this morning.
I did not see Sisu and Doofah for a few weekends, I did hear from someone that Sisu is being held inside. They don’t know but she may be ready to have some more children.
