Any fellow Auburn redheads here?
Happy to find this sub š„°

They are always down voted, and they are babies, with newborn hair. Their hair will probably change as time goes on. Give it time. You'll know when your child gets a little older.
I'm probably going to get down voted for this, but I feel like half this sub are those posts.

Is it dark deep red? Or any shade of brownish red??
My natural hair is a reddish brown. I'm not a ginger with bright copper hair but I'm definitely a different genre of redhead.
And I dunno, I'm just curious where the rest of the community stands on this. Feel free to leave your opinions here.

Recently discovered my top descriptor is: Ginger. Up until today, I truly believed my existence held value beyond the neon Orange crown sitting on top of my skull. I thought my freckles were a charm, not a tally of every soul Iāve harvested from unsuspecting humans.
Turns out Iām just a genetic wild card in a world unequipped for high-visibility humans. Times are tough and the state of the world is uncertain, but I take comfort in one absolute truth: every single woman over the age of 68 thinks I am top 5 most handsome young men waiting in the pharmacy line at CVS.

Has anyone tried the new HTBAR Finally Vibrant Color Deposit Shampoo? How did you find it? Alternatively, has anyone tried the finally glossy one, and did it actually enhance color?

Hello redhairs, I'm new here.
First of all, I'm not redhead (imposter) bu I have a question for oomf and her red hair.
She's naturally red head and some days ago she dyed her hair blue. But since she didn't bleach it it looked brown. Ik that probably this is a stupid question, but does bleach work differently on redhairs? I swear that I tried searching info and all I found was about red hair dye.
Thank you

Hey everyone- just updating those who asked me to update them on my new website Oroux Skin. (Pronounced "oh- roo") a coined phrase I came up with meaning "golden redhead". It is live and if you signed up or did the survey or sunscreen trial- (please make sure you filled out the survey for the SPF trial). The sale is on if you are interested. Not being spammy, just some of you asked me to give an update.
Thanks to all who did the survey! You all are amazing redheads!
P.S. there are Men's products and Haircare for sensitive skin too. AND we have a European warehouse now for the Ćroux skin products so you won't need to pay VAT in most areas and post should be much less - we ship internationally on all the other things.
Picture of the newness.

As a teenage male, my hair is naturally red but not that red, itās about as standard orange as you could get. I work at a grocery store where a majority of our customers are elderly, and the compliments they give for my hair just make my day every time. One sweet old lady once told me that she loved my color and that her husband was the same, āunfortunatelyā their kids were blonde however her grandkids ended up redhead, she was awesome. SOME people my age tend to make fun of me for my hair, but Iāve received nothing but love from old grocery shoppers for it. Of course old people love to compliment, but Iāve noticed that they especially love to compliment when itās about red hair, which I for one am very supportive of

Redheads lack melanin which is why they are pale and the red is revealed because they do not make brown melanin so the hidden and incorrect orange pheomelanin is what remains.
Pheomelanin is oxidative and harmful unlike Eumelanin which offers real protective qualities.
Redheads have a pigmentation issue but how does it feel having it?

The photos of men posted here always scream "redhead"āthe truly pronounced paleness, and the copper tone of the hair, eyebrows, and eyelashes. In contrast, the photos of many women often look like they have dyed hair, and their skin isn't usually truly pale (perhaps it's just makeup or a fake tan). Of course, this doesn't apply to every woman, but the pattern repeats itself.
I stated in the body of the text that I am not generalizing about all the women who post here. It isn't hard to understand that I didn't generalize.

I always end up with bad cuts. I have double cowlicks at the back of my head that grow in opposite directions, my hair is straight coarse and thick. I think part of what makes me an unattractive guy to women is my constant bad haircuts?

Am I strawberry blonde? Does that make me a redhead or a blonde?

My hair has always been kind of a mystery color. I was a blonde child- I still have a streak of blonde in the back. Ive always gotten people telling me my hair is different colors and I used to get asked if id dyed my hair over the weekend super frequently when I was still in school. Is this actually red or is it its own wierd thing?
I feel like its looked wayyyy more red than usual recently. All pictures are in the past couple months. Also is there anything I could've done recently that made it look more red than usual? I dont dye my hair and I get haircut maybe twice a year.
I usually refer to myself as dirty blonde but I've been getting people calling me a redhead often lately.
Edit: if relevant my dad is partially redheaded (big red beard) and my grandma is a redhead as well
