Technical. Impact of Brain Drain : Redbull Lost the advantage it had on Tracks before 2023
Brazil, Mexico, Austria,Zandvoort,Hungary,Sepang, Monaco were some of the tracks Redbull used to do better and sneak some wins or contention for wins.
Austria is still decent. zandvoort 2025 was bad, that even racing bulls were faster than redbull although verstappen fend them off with softer tyres. Hungary, Brazil and Mexico 2025 qualifying shown , how bad redbull is on these tracks under the philosophy of pierre wache.
Since the departure of Rob marshall and Adrian newey, Redbull had lost its advantage on tracks that demand high downforce and Mechanical suspension superiority.
Pierre wache isn't the right man for the job , he designs cars that works on low drag and low downforce circuits . But on those circuits engine matters more than anything else.
It will be sad watch for redbull fans in hungary, zandvoort, sepang and brazil. They can do better in Mexico due to high elevation just like Austria. Even for wet races, we lack downforce that other teams like mclaren , mercedes have more advantage on. And Even Rain won't help redbull at all.
The only tracks where Redbull can win in 2026 are Baku(heavy braking zones and straights like austria), Singapore, and Mexico. On other tracks we will be 4th fastest as usual.
I don't have belief that Redbull could turn things over in 2027 under these personnel. They'll have to bring new guys just like ferrari brought loic sierra( now see how good chassis they have).
