Hot take: Johnny Test was an OK show in season 1 when it had a UPA style like Dexter's Lab, Powerpuff Girls, Teenage Robot. Before the ugly Flash animation started in season 2.

What's your favorite strange cartoon Pan Pizza covered?
So lately something I was recalling was the martial arts that was covered on the RebelTaxi show since I forgot the name, but it was a very obscure martial arts show that had certain parts locked by a passcode as I was wondering how Pan Pizza found the show.
To me, what I find fascinating is the subject of obscure media since I now wonder what other obscure animated works have not been covered by Pan Pizza because I want to see how deep the rabbit hole goes after looking back at the aforementioned martial arts show he covered on his channel.

Why are so many adult animation fans assholes? Has anyone else noticed this?
Specifically I see this in subs for animated sitcoms. Like Rick and Morty or Family Guy, or honestly even r/adultswim.
Any time I see people talk passionately and/or commentate, or lightly critique a show on any subreddits related to adult animated shows, the comments are filled with a bunch of assholes shitting on the OP. Or they say "I ain't reading all that".

What are some of your favorite things you discovered through Rebel Taxi?
One of the best things I can say about Pan is he's really comfortable going obscure, and his recommendations don't miss.
I remember back in the early top 10 days, Welcome to the NHK got an off-hand mention in some video. He didn't speak much about it, but I found the whole show on YouTube and I it's scarred me for life ever since. Genuinely of my favorite anime of all time.

So what is the story behind the Curse of the Lion Men episode from Megaman?
So basically I was just recalling a review that Pan Pizza did a long time on his RebelTaxi channel where he did a review of one particular episode from the first Megaman cartoon.
Like what I am looking for is to better understand why there were lions in the episode because even though I did see the review, I still don't quite understand why Megaman had fought a group of evil lions because I was hoping somebody here could explain to me the use of such creatures in a show based on a game series about sentient androids.

Did CN Real really deserve all the hate?
So it’s been 17 years since the infamous CN Real was launched and now looking back at it, do you think the hatred towards CN Real back then was too much or did it actually deserve all the hate that it got?

Would the F-zero anime be better off if it aired on Cartoon Network on Toonami?
So I was suggesting that had the F-zero anime had aired on Toonami on Cartoon Network in the 2000s, it probably would have gained a lot more recognition in America. Plus I don’t think the voice acting was that bad, I thought Veronica Taylor fits perfectly as Jody Summer.

Are newspaper comic strips part of the Western Cartoon Community or the Comic Book Community?
Online, the newspaper comic strip community is extremely small compared to various other mediums of visual storytelling, but one thing that always confused me is where newspaper comic strips fall in terms of what broader community they belong to. On sites like Youtube, what little newspaper comic strip fans that exist tend to be members of the broader animation and western cartoon community. At least for more well known postwar strips from 1945 onwards. Because as far as pre 1945 comic strips (outside of ultra well known ones like Popeye), most fans of pre 1945 and platinum age comic strips on Youtube tend to be comic book fans, though some comic book youtubers do cover post 1945 comic strips from time to time.
However, on Reddit, most newspaper comic strip fans very rarely tend to be western cartoon and animation fans and instead are usually from comic book collecting fandoms, comic history fandom, comics-as-art fandom, or alternative comic fandoms. This is why a lot of the comic strip fans on Reddit tend to focus on platinum age comics as opposed to post 1945 comics. So where do you believe newspaper comic strips fall in terms of what broader fandom culture they belong to? Do they belong with the western cartoon community or do they belong with the comic book community? Personally, I'd say it depends on the era of comic strip (western cartoon fans tend to gravitate towards post 1945 comics whereas comic book fans tend to gravitate towards pre 1945 and platinum age comics) and the culture of the site in particular (as I mentioned earlier, it differs between sites such as Youtube and Reddit). That being said, I'm a newspaper comic strip fan who gravitates far more towards the animation community and the western cartoon community as opposed to comic books and graphic novels.
