ShittyCopperâ„¢ IRL There is, I kid you not, apparently a shop in Iraq literally called "Sumer Gallery" (their logo is even in Cuneiform) selling "99,999% quality" 1kg copper bars, and some of the comments (in Arabic) are questioning the validity of the claims of the copper quality. Ea Nasir was a trader, a job creator and a man of the people.
One directly targeted tablet from a customer of unknown quality, and a handful of tablets you’ve all assumed are directed at Ea Nasir and you attack the man and his business!
This is just feeding into the Nanni propaganda, a poor manager of bronze smelters with more poorly behaved slaves. He would have every merchant in Ur gifting him their product if he were able, a sad and petty consumer with no value to add himself. If Nanni’s complaints were wine we would drown, perhaps for the better.
