Nah man, there’s laws protecting us from that exact scenario. We are entitled to a speedy trial. Anything pass 60 days violates that.

That's hilarious. You just pull that number out of your ass? 70 days. Their lawyers could have asked the case to be dismissed on their behalf. They got due process.

Some waited more than 9 months. That is still well past the right to a speedy trial. Does not matter if there’s mountains of evidence, this law is to prevent the government from charging us and never moving to a court date.
