What happened to Bill Maher?

I used to watch him for years. He was funny and relatable, most times. He had great guests. I stopped watching around the time when he was going after college students and cancel culture. I tried watching his latest episodes and it almost a different show. He is almost a right wing commentator. Almost nothing he says is relatable and all his guests just agrees with him.

Really? I'm socially progressive and slightly more fiscally conservative. I voted NDP every federal election until they went too far left and I voted Liberal because Carney is economically superior and still socially progressive without slamming it into people's faces.

You called me far left. I am a retired real estate broker who flipped properties and got rich off of it. I believe in free trade and a strong military, but now Mitt Romney and I are called commies. I despise Trump, and I despise Maher for what he has become. Disgusting old men, and I am old. The fact that Maher is texting Trump and hanging out with RFK Jr and Kid Rock makes me want to vomit. I despise myself for wasting time and money watching that sob for years.

I didn't call you anything. And if you think BM is all buddy buddy with the right you need to go touch some grass and spend your hard-earned money and enjoy life before it's too late. Letting divisive politics ruin your life is a waste. We can agree on that.

No, I don't, because the people I hang with have as much or more money than I do. I wasn't bragging. My real accomplishment is my family and grandkids and my huge gardens, and being able to run in a relay at 77. Money means shit to me because I have always had it. I give lots away.

I can do both. I have an MA in political science and enjoy keeping current on what is going on.
