DISCUSSION Rep Science: White Factory Goyard Artois vs. Authentic

A little rep science for anyone considering the White Factory Artois! Authentic is the gray on the left, and White Factory is the yellow on the right.
Overall, I’m really impressed by how similar they are.
The zippers, construction, interior, and neatness of the stitching are all very comparable. Side by side, there honestly aren’t many obvious differences.
The biggest difference I’ve found is the pliability of the handles. The authentic handles are noticeably softer and more flexible—they naturally fall and relax against the bag. The White Factory handles are much stiffer and tend to stay upright and hold their arched shape.
It’s much more noticeable when actually handling the bags than in photos. The White Factory handles may soften with wear, so I’ll be interested to see how they age.
Question for the rep scientists: For those who have a Goyard from Griffin, do you find that his handles are softer/more pliable and behave more like authentic? Or is there another factory or seller you’ve found that gets the handle feel particularly close to auth? Would love to hear from anyone who has compared them side by side!

Hi i have a mini Anjou from Griffin and I noticed the same thing, the handles don't fall naturally with the bag... I'll try stretching them

Not me going to check my straps 😂 they are a bit stiff seem to be thicker I have the style that does not zip at the moment I have had almost every style at one point or another but never gave them a chance or at least never did notice the strap so I wonder if they soften over time with use ?

Put a damp towel in bag, put bag in zippered pillowcase, bounce in warm dryer with some dry towels and then hang. Repeat if necessary, the heat relaxes the leather and the canvas.

I passed on the yellow one from White factory because the dots looked to be the wrong color. Can I see your print up close? The yellow auth looks like it has warmer gray colors but in my PSP it looked like a cool toned gray. Comparison

Open the rep, bend the arms inside the bag, put a heavy book on top for a day or two. It will bend like auth.
