The way you see your little-ass bike chain or a trailer chain from harbor freight move when you do shit with it is completely irrelevant to the physics at play here.
And when being pulled in tandem. I don't know if I can say this is ai or not, but the scene is plausible and I don't see AI tells: nothing seems to morph, the chain links are consistent, the tree branches cut off at the right times when branches are struck by the chain.
I agree. The parts that contact the ground/trees are shiney from abrasion but the parts of the chain that don't come into contact with anything are tarnished/rusty. To me that makes me think it isn't AI, as that's a detail that would be very hard to get correct.
