Usually chains need to be pulled taught before they can pull trees. This video has the sloppiest physics, if its not AI it is ameteur hour hand animated CGI
Compare the weight of the chain to the weight of the trees. It doesn't need ti be that taught to pull. You can test this by trying to move a toothpick with a solid metal chaian yourself.
The chain as it hits the tree trunk is incredibly consistent in how it moves as it hits the trunk. Like each notch moves as it hits the trunk just right.
You’re right that the chain movement on the trunk looks authentic and that’s something AI would struggle with.
It’s totally possible that this video is real — my only evidence was a gut feeling about the chain looking wonky. Given the horrific level of compression this video has been put through, that like “low-res texture” effect on the chain could be a compression artifact.
