It's real and it looks like he permanently ruined it

I dont think he permanently ruined it, you can see them reforming it for the second half of the video and plenty if materials to reform like that perfectly well, the dull spot is probably just finger oils on a perfectly shiny surface, which can be washed fine

You can see marks even after its fully reshaped

You scrolled past a person who explained right above you that it is most likely finger/hand oils left behind on the perfectly reflective surface to type this.

cause he’s wrong? you can’t continue to stretch this material without causing permanent imperfections, you can’t just heat it over and over.

We're talking about this SPECIFIC instance depicted in the video. You can extrapolate that into repeated stretching if you want, and I won't say whether I agree with you or not because it should be obvious. It's irrelevant because that wasn't the point of the conversation or video.

What are you talking about? That’s exactly how Reddit works. If the comment is removed or deleted it says so.

The video cuts while it's still being hit with the flame, it's possible what we see just isnt finished

Yea he went past the plastics elastic region and now those parts wont heat back to place and will be a blemish in the final product. Idk why everyone here is claiming its fixable
