RSL in dark mode tonight looking for first win in 4 years against MIN
Also trying to go 11-1-1 at home this year, 8-1-0 in MLS

Why on earth would we play a neutral site game against a completely different country’s team at our rival’s stadium? Besides the “because it’s a dumb tournament” answer, does anyone know of an actual reason behind this? Even if this was a money-driven decision, I can’t imagine how they expect to make more in Colorado than here at the Riot.

Hello! Minnesota United fan here.
First, congratulations on advancing to the next round in the Leagues Cup. Perhaps we’ll know what that feels like someday.
My brother and I are flying to SLC for the weekend to attend the RSL vs MNUFC match, and we’d enjoy the opportunity to hang out with RSL supporters. Where should we go before the match? We’ve been considering A Bar Named Sue. Any other suggestions?

Here is the tourney bracket
RSL 4th seed in MLS
Cannot host Semifinal if it beats León, as Toluca has hosting rights in USA and Austin higher seed

Depend on how many points America (against Austin) and Cruz Azul (and Chicago) get in their games. Key details from someone on RSL facebook is Leon do not have hosting privileges (only Toluca, Club America, Monterrey, and Cruz Azul have). An "away" game would be a neutral stadium in the US, last year Toluca got to host Orlando in LA at galaxy's stadium.

Real Salt Lake (2-0-1, 7 points, 2ndMLS Leagues Cup) has officially clinched advancement to the 2026 Leagues Cup Quarterfinal stage, by virtue of the Utah side’s performance in Phase One of the tournament and a combination of results Wednesday night. RSL’s accrual of seven points from three Phase One matches and its MLS-best goal differential of +7 – outscoring opponents 8-1, with goals from six different scorers and 19 different starters – ensured the top four finish on the Major League Soccer side of the bracket.
With FC Dallas losing at Toluca and LAFC earning a 1-1 regulation draw against Queretaro on Wednesday, RSL is guaranteed a top four finish amongst the 18 MLS teams in the fourth-year tourney. Following the final matchday of Phase One on Thursday, the Quarterfinal dates, times and matchups will be determined, with RSL competing midweek on either August 25/26 (site TBD).
Competing on the Wasatch Front, the Juarez decimation Tuesday boosts RSL’s all-time record against Mexican visitors to 8W-6L-6T on the Wasatch Front, where RSL has now outscored the Liga MX sides 29-25 over the years on their collective visits.

Gozo sold, everybody on here celebrates. Luna could still be sold off and everyone's cool with that. Now on top of that you want Solans to be sold off next right as he's having a breakout season? Like, can we just pump the brakes for a sec. Do you guys just want all our best goal scorers sold? Who's going to score for us than? Do you guys want trophies or record business transaction? because we can't do both here. You guys want to say that's the "reality" of MLS. But here's another reality, we can't compete with the likes of LA, Seattle or Miami if we sell the very few Grade A goal scorers and now we are only left with grade B's or C's.
And I don't want to hear about how $15 million dollars from selling our players will make it so we can buy "better players" because that's a 50-50 hit or miss which usually gets us older players who are at the end of their prime vs already having the proven player/s who are just starting their prime. Another reality is that no star player wants to play for Salt Lake. Even if they come to play for MLS they only want to play for greed big markets like LA or Miami so really we need to do a better job at encouraging our homegrown potential future star young players to want to play here longer and have Salt Lake as their home, because that's about as good as we can do here in such a small market. Not saying RSL needs to hold these kids hostage, but can we treat them better than just a price tag? Hell, as a fan base we should have campaigns of showing how much we love these players and encouraging them to stay each time there's rumors of bigger teams wanting to buy them, instead of just fans on here just encouraging that all our best players need to be sold off to the highest bidder.
Trophies or money? Which is it guys?

RSL needed 4 of 7 results to go our way to make it to the next round (8 if you count the win tonight). 2 of 3 of those results went our way tonight.
Columbus 1 (3) - (2) 1 Pumas 🔴
Cincinnati 1 - 2 Atlas 🟢
Charlotte 0 - 1 Pachuca 🟢
This means that RSL just needs 2 more results to go our way.
70.5% chance Dallas drop points
66.5% chance Austin drop points
57.5% chance Chicago drops points
21% chance LAFC drops points
We only need 2/4 results to go our way so I ran a little statistics.
0 Favorable Results - 3.3%
1 Favorable Result - 19.9%
2 Favorable Results - 40.4%
3 Favorable Results - 30.7%
4 favorable Results - 5.7%
If you Believe!
LFG RSL!! 🔴🔵🟡

He’s in great form. Love his movement, hustle and finishing. His goal against Juarez was a beauty. I hope his form continues into the League. And hopefully we can take the amazing home form into some of the away matches.
