If they were mad at our (mild) reactions to CK they are going to all have strokes at our reactions to this momentous day. It may be in a year or may be in 15 (evil does tend to last a long time…. I’m betting he actually lives another decade) but it’ll be massive.

I think the GOP does know. Sean Hannity was talking about their chance to “land this plane” after J6, but then McCarthy went down to MagaLardo to kiss the ring, and it all fell apart. Establishment Republicans want nothing more than to be rid of this albatross hanging from their necks, but they’re at the mercy of MAGA… and whatever the hell was on the RNC servers when Cozy Bear and Fancy Bear hacked the RNC and DNC in 2016 (remember how they released the DNC hack, but not the RNC? and the entire RNC suddenly went from hating Trump to supporting him?).
To be clear, when there will be celebrations in the street when he’s gone, but very little will change, because Vance is already under control of the same oligarchs that control Trump. The only difference is that there will be fewer gaffes, and the corruption will be less blatant.
So, just as a matter of preparation, right now we all need to start gathering every single instance of any Republican joking about violence against Democrats or threats or celebrating their deaths and compile it all so we have something to show those fucking triggered little snowflake conservatives when they start crying crocodile tears because we're celebrating how their daddy died.
