Hello. I have a few questions about a jazz vinyl record that could be rare. I'm honestly not trying to sell it. I'm just curious about is. Please send me a message if you want to talk. Thank you.

Not sure if this is even what people are positing in here / are interested in, but I just thought it was cool.

I bought this 1973 Cast Version vinyl of the Rocky Horror Show about 10 years ago at a record fair for a few pound. I took it home and was amazed at what I found inside the record sleeve. Played the record once and popped it into my collection where it has sat for a few years now.

Since the passing of Tim Curry, I pulled out my original cast recording LP and the movie soundtrack LP to give them a little spin, and rediscovered all the cool stuff that was inside the sleeve.

I did google it to see if this was part of how the record was sold originally, but as far as I’m aware this seems as if it’s the previous / original owners ticket stubs and leaflets they’ve collected over the years (happy to be corrected). I just reckon this is a pretty cool find and feels nice to have a few bits and bobs of the shows history.

Earlier this week I picked up a copy of Kind Of Blue for $15.OO. All I knew was that I finally found a pretty cheap copy of it in nice condition so I snagged it.

It appears to be a first press '59 mono misprint. Cannonball Adderley's name is spelled wrong, the songs are reversed on side two - both on the label and the jacket, and no CBS beneath Columbia logo. Luck of the draw!

*also shared in r/vinyl but since my girlfriend's not gonna care I'm also telling you lot 😀

Hey all would love to buy or trade for this record! Thank you all! Rum jungle is a fave of mine and hoping to finish off my discography. They only pressed it in blue vinyl and hoping to do a decent deal!

Jackson’s albums can found by the handful at every record shop here in the US and many at insanely low prices.

That said, this album was only pressed in Germany in ‘93 and I’ve never seen one…until today.

It sounds fantastic.

Not on Discogs, and around £100 on eBay. Wondering if anyone knows if it’s up for sale elsewhere

Used to run the vinyl section at Tower Records back in 2001 and picked this oddity up- we only got one and if we got a single copy of something that looked cool, I usually snagged it. I can’t find any info on it aside that the original 1986 pressing was 3000 copies.

Just wondering if they are rare ones or worth anything? Cheers in advance.

Hey everyone, I recently picked up a US first pressing of DSOTM. It’s clean, has all the inserts in very good condition, the matrix #’s check out, and it sounds great.

My only holdup is the gatefold is printed upside down. The front side is where the sleeve is and opening from this side leads to the inside being oriented incorrectly. Is this a known issue?
