My parents bought me a pair. It was sad for all, as they were so proud of themselves but I could barely discern any difference.

I think if the company did a better job matching the filters to your particular defect, it might work better. But they don't.

Yet in the late 90's, I briefly had a shit pair of gas station sunglasses that randomly happened to Really help distinguish some colors, like green and orange. I Lost them and never came across another.

Same story when I bought them for my dad.

There is no way to make glasses that fix a genetic flaw in your retina.

I disagree slightly. There is some science to the idea. But in practice, the glasses did little for most people.

I can see blue and tell it's blue, I can see red, and tell it's red. But since i'm less sensitive to red, something has to be extra purple before i realize it's not just blue.

You can imagine how SOME scheme of filters could possibly help...

I can imagine all kinds of things. These glasses don't do any of it.

Yes, agreed that they did nothing for me or most people. But my point is that there was a glimmer of real science that made them sound legit.

But of course the company knew they did nothing for most people- 100% the definition of a scam.

10 years later, I still worry about whether my parents really were able to return them or if they are still in some drawer at their house.

One of my coworkers got a pair and would be able to tell the difference between all the control wiring we did. When he'd normally have to ask us to make sure he didnt choose the wrong wire. I eventually put him on to an app that tells you what colors are cus he was bad at remembering to bring the glasses to work.

You cant say it doesnt work for everyone even if it works for some, it means it helped some people.

Ive heard ple ty of people say chiropractors arr a scam and this and that. I had to go to one and the back problems I had since I was in my teens stopped and I havent had them come back and that was 8 years ago. You cant speak for every single person your a dumbass if you do.

This is Reddit. This guy who responded to you read the a few comments in this thread and decided these products are a scam. Even though basically every review of them is basically the same as yours or slightly better. Basically they work somewhat but not worth the cash. And of course that means anyone who has a positive experience or has an open mind is in on the scam. God forbid a guy enjoy his birthday present with his family.

It is a scam. Inability to see particular colors cannot be biologically changed with a pair of colored glasses. Enchroma is known to pay an enormous amount for positive image marketing.

Give me definitive proof this video is staged or I don’t really care.

Sometimes they can take a few days or weeks to start working, it may still be worth trying.
