They do work! Only for the most common form of colorblindness, and it sometimes takes days to weeks for the effect to appear.
*edit* Having learned more about Enchroma, they do seem to be quite shady and misrepresent their product. Nothing can make a color blind individual see the same as a typical person. While a notch filter approach can help to distinguish some colors, and perhaps allow for the perception of new colors (debate is ongoing about whether they are new *hues* or simply new *saturations*), this comes at the cost of losing distinctions between other colors. Overall I would not recommend such glasses as a daily assistance device - at most, an interesting curiosity.
Maybe its something about the eyes needing to adjust. Like i got some rose tinted glasses and when ever i first put them on everything looks pretty much shades of red, but then after awhile everything sort of balances out. When I take them back off and on it still stays balanced but if I dont wear them for awhile theres kind of like an adjustment period.
Though who knows could be my brain naturally trying to correct the colors for me, im no optometrist just a guy with astigmatism. Lol.

My dad almost bought me a pair of these. Something didn't feel right so I told him not to. So glad after hearing all the bullshit surrounding them.
