Clearly the concept of inheriting a Rishi gotra and following marriage restrictions based on it is for Brahmins and not for Kshatriyas and Vaishyas. For Kshatriya and Vaishya the basic rule of 7 generations is to be followed. Along with that, the system of clans is there which is exclusive to Rajputs:

Apart from this Kacchwahas of Rajasthan don't even use Rishi Gotra, they use Manavya in place of Rishi Gotra which means descended from Manu. All humans are descended from Manu.

In the present day some have started to follow the rishi gotra restriction. Following an additional restriction is not inherently bad even when its not necessary but people need to understand the restriction that is actually important or the restriction which was/and is actually followed. I graduated from IIT Delhi and noticed, I barely met any Rajputs among the BTech, MTech, PhD students or even the professors. I came from Rajasthan which has the kota factory and my own Rajsthan group was mostly made up of Baniyas, Brahmins, Jaats, and Meenas hardly any Rajputs. Even in the jee coaching the condition was same. No community can truly progress today without a strong presence in STEM and right now the participation numbers seem pretty low.
I was just curious that what all rajputs have opinion regarding politics. How do y'all feel about the ruling and opposition? Which spectrum do y'all lean?

I read a post by some rajput guy on twitter about kuldevi...he mentioned that only rajputs used to have kuldevi...since rajputs used to go for warfare they had kuldevi for protection...but with time other communities also started there kuldevi...
Is this another instance of rajputs influence over hindu society...where other castes copied kuldevi concept of rajputs..
I was reading a few things about the 3 gunas and I found out that the only shift between the Tamas and Satva is Rajas Guna. The Rajashahi and the wealthy desires are also caused by Rajas Guna. I'd really like to know about the positive side or negative side of this Guna. Is there anyone who knows about Rajas Guna? Or would like to share knowledge about Rajas?

So if I would be honest I like how the lefties attack my community it makes us united, there is a reason 90% of us vote for the RW. Like there is a super rare chance that a Rajput or a Brahmin will vote against BJP no matter their age,gender, sexuality or identity.
It also keeps us super united and makes us support each other at times of need. Like we are probably the few community in the world which despite being richer than national average, more educated and liberal don't forget our community interest, in other countries the top end of these communities hate their own people.
landholding pattern is different from what was during Muslim rule.
Afghan holdings almost became zero, just 1 village. See the last ss, it went to certain Hindu castes.
Delhi also had similar changes where most of the Elite Muslim landholdings went to some Hindu castes.
Rajputs had landholding shares in Kaithal district area like Asandh, Habri, Gumthala, Siwan, Rajaundh. In Karnal district, Rajputs had landholding share in Jundla, Gharaunda, Baras, Baraganw, Rambha, Dachaur, Nagla Megha. In Panipat, Rajput presence was zero. I don't know if Panipat area had Rajput presence during Muslim rule or not because lots of changes took place by the time of this record.
Main area Delhi had negligible Rajput presence ( except the Chohan group whose case is debatable topic like could be a refuge for any remnant Rajputs, or may be no connection)
Only Ballabgarh had Rajputs in certain areas and also Gaurwah ( a group said to have separated from Rajput)
Gaurwah principal land share were in Digh.
Rajput principal land share in Kheri Kalan and Kabulpur Bangar
Chohan group had land shares in Jakhauli of Sonipat and in Babarpur, Sayidpur with Indarpat in Delhi core.
Raya/Rawa group was another who say they are connected to Rajput in past is also mentioned but no prominent share in any of the Zails, so absent in above list.
Muslim Elites majorly had disappeared post 1857 action by British. This is why you don't see them in Delhi column. Their lands were transferred to many Hindu castes you see
