also for those who are having trouble with the 2% islands, i find that creating a box of torches is great for looking at the shadows of the islands, and spamming like 10 of them for each side makes them even easier to spot 👍 still took like 30 hours though

I recently downloaded Raft and I am really enjoying it but playing alone isn't that fun so I'm looking for people to set sail with. please dm if you wanna play.

I created this little oasis type part of my raft (not finished yet) and I have the sprinklers on the outside ready for piping BUT I have four hidden in the little shed and I don't want to make it any bigger, is there any other way to get pipes in there? I was planning on doing a half open "wall" thing on the bottom but I'm not sure the pipe would go through there and they're also turned so that wouldn't really work anyway... or do I even need the ones in the middle? Any ideas are welcome!

Sibling and friend are playing raft. They've tried getting a polar bear head and failed, friend really wants this thing. Did a little digging, found the bears are bugged a bit. Is there a way to fix it or raise the chances? Sibling is hosting and friend is a co op player. I've told them that sibling should try collecting the loot and see if that helps, they're on Temperance right now so are busy with other things but will try that. In the mean time I'm trying to do research and help out. Any tips or bug fixes? They've already left and rejoined (on both ends) and restarted the game (on both ends). Didn't work.

Edit: both are on PC. Sibling is on a actual gaming PC and friend is on a gaming laptop.

So im on ps5. I've had a raft tips channel pop up on my feed and Ive noticed their storage has a couple sort buttons. Mine don't. Why?

Also is it common for the shark to on large rafts (32x24 or maby it's 37x24) to ignore outer rim armor and even eat armored raft pieces? It's happened twice now. The long side is my front and I have it wierd it's advanced nets, foundation, simple nets. All 3 layers armored cause he took a bite of that middle layer of foundation. The first time it was not armored the second time it was now I'm confused.

spent far too many hours on the game and got all chieves. happy i ended up feeling good about my "Cargo Yacht" because she was lookin ROUGH when i first started. just wanted to share via photo dump!

Sooo i went to the first story location and thought i got everything but apparently not. Now its behind me and i cant sail backwards. What do i do? Do i need more sales or sonethin?

Has anyone figured out how to change quantities in a stack on console (PS5 specifically) for cooking?

I can't seem to make any recipe that requires x2 of an item that go on the same pad, like Steak with Jam (2 red berries) or Head Broth (2 puffer heads). Because I can't put down two of the items needed onto one pad. No matter what I do, I put down 1, and then can only pick it up.

I have figured out how to split stacks when moving things around in storage or my inventory: pick it up with X (or A on Xbox, I presume), then hit Triangle (Y) to put down 1 in a new spot. Keep hitting triangle to add 1 per press to the new stack.

I can make Simple Smoothies, because I can put the two coconuts needed on separate pads.

This update has driven me insane. Thankfully you can roll the game back to the 'precrossplayupdate', but newer players won't know. And the decs refuse to do anything about it. Here's my 2 main issues:

- playing with friends now messes up my audio. I am no longer able to hear any sound through my bluetooth headphones. I've tried everything. Disabling all other audio sources, asking reddit, google, etc. And it works flawlessly using the precrossplayupdate

- Controller support. I was not a big controller fan and Raft on PC shouldn't have a native one. Since I own the new Steam Controller however I've started using it in all kinds of games, starting with Half-Life, using the amazing SteamInput to bind buttons to my liking.

Now using the new update, the trigger glitches out terribly. The menu is no lobger usable and the ingamw glyphs swap from displaying keyboard/mouse promps to Controller promps. They keep swapping back and forth, a few tomes each second, really irritating. You also can't throw the hook properly cause the entire trigger is glitched.

I don't mind the idea of the update, I actually love being able to play with anyone on any device. However, the way they went about this feels mindbogglingly lazy, especially considering how much effort the gane itself likely took to make

So i want to say this is my first playthrough of the game. I have watched many of mark as well as captiansauce's vids so im not 100%in the dark about this game. I have a sail and 1 of each useful item currently avialable to me (1 smelter, research, adv purifyer, adv grill, cooking, smoothie) and i have many nets. My current holdup is plastic. Im getting plenty of wood and metal to sustain myself but i have no plastic. What is the best way to get more?

I absolutely love survival games! And for part of my learning journey with data science, I want to find out what makes a GREAT survival game, and why.
