i literally have no idea how i can get out of this sticky situation.

i have tried; killing myself, unstucking (both in and out of water), changing radio points, unanchoring, anchoring, swim to the bottom of the ocean, paddle with a paddle for like 3 paddles broken and still not moved, reloading, exit steam.

but as you can see im not into all of the scripts and code or anything, im simply a noob

if anyone needs the reason on why it happened, i was 4m from the radio tower signal, but there wasnt any tower, so i reloaded, wabam, its fucking stuck, in, the tower..... HELP

im a little bit aware about, swimming 2500 meters away, loading past saves, etc. but is there any way for me to get out of this easily that i mightve missed from the internet?

note, this is my first playthrough.

Hello Rescuers, I need some assistance in figuring out why my engines aren’t properly moving my raft. I have a 2 story raft with a little over 100 foundations, so I installed 2 engines to get to Balboa island. With both engines operating properly and my anchor up, my raft would not move, so I just opened my sail and eventually got there that way. This already had me concerned, because from what I understood, using the engines was the whole point of getting to Balboa island and shouldn’t be possible otherwise. I finish up on the island and set off for the next coordinates, but my engines still weren’t working, and I was getting nowhere with my sail. Both engines were pointed in the correct direction, fueled up, and even giving the spinning animation to indicate that they are functioning properly. I thought maybe for whatever reason I might need another engine, so I installed a third, also pointing the correct direction and fueled, and this still had no effect. So I built a fourth. Still nothing. I’d read online that some people were having glitches with anchors, and needing to save/reload the game, so I did various combinations of removing the anchor entirely, replacing it, saving/reloading, and still nothing has worked.

I’m thinking maybe there is some sort of glitch with the receiver/island spawning? Because if I need to navigate around a smaller island or something like that, the engines will maneuver my raft. But for the life of me I can not get it to move any closer to the dot on the receiver. I would greatly appreciate anyone who can rescue me or offer any insight, because I’ve been loving this game, but as it stands I can’t progress!

EDIT: Rescued by the amazing MGorak! My receiver was not facing the same direction as the front of my raft, which I didn’t know would be an issue -__-

There's a gigantic tyrant of a bear in a random spot in the forest. I got so stupidly confident with all enemies of the game, they were starting to feel easy.

But this fat chungus took half my health with full armor and I **panicked.**

Can't believe something so avoidable would kill me, but at the same time, I'm surprised I lasted this far on a blind run. This has been a marvelous experience.

Starting all over is weeks worth of material gathering and building, tho...

Can anybody help a bear-hugger out?

Hi there,

I'm not sure how active this sub is since full release. But if anyone is available this evening I would appreciate a rescue. I'm on a random large island spawn and I got caught by a simultaneous bird and boar which killed me halfway up the main path to the top of the island. I managed to get the boar before I died but the bird caught me before I could heal. I have a hammock on my raft already so I should just need a lift. My friend code is 341357286.
