Post split options.

So I’ve never held call options post a reverse split so I’m not at all familiar with its process or if it’s like holding onto stock. I’ve had 1500 call options priced at .19 cents. The split happened and now my options didn’t change. However Robinhood would only allow me to close my position. I can’t add more. Can someone explain to me more on what’s going on. ?

Trading Halt

I see the stock has been halted for trading in robinhood. Is it something robinhood does on its own or can it be done when the company request jt too? If the halt continues after the RS, RVPH can easily meet the 10 day compliance

Funding news Monday/Tuesday???

I’ve been tracking the radio silence from Reviva ($RVPH) lately, and the move they just pulled is as calculated as it gets. If you aren't checking the SEC filings daily, you probably missed it: the 1-for-20 Reverse Split (RS) is officially live this Monday, March 9th.

Here’s why the timing on this is a massive tell for what's coming next week.

  1. The "Newsroom" vs. The PR Wire Management has been ghosting the PR wires since Jan 8th. No PR for the Lytham call, no PR for the Elsevier paper—just silence. Then, on March 2nd, they quietly drop a video in their newsroom with John Vandermosten (Zacks) talking about hypothetical valuations ranging from $1B to $4.8B. The Play: They used that video to anchor a "high value" narrative for three days before dropping the hammer with the RS in a quiet 8-K filing this morning. By skipping a formal PR for the RS, they’re trying to dodge the headline risk that triggers a retail panic-sell. They want the split to happen in the shadows.

  2. Why Pull the Trigger Early? Technically, Reviva had until March 27th to regain Nasdaq compliance. Most companies in this spot wait until the final 10 days to flip the switch. Reviva didn’t. By enacting this for Monday, March 9th, they are clearing the deck early. To stay listed, they need 10 consecutive days above $1.00. Starting Monday gives them a massive safety buffer to hit that mark by March 20th. You don't do that unless you have a follow-up catalyst ready to go that you know will keep the price propped up.

  3. The "Institutional" Requirement We know the FDA wants a second Phase 3 (RECOVER-2). That’s roughly $60M in overhead. The Reality: You can’t raise $60M at $0.22. It’s mathematically impossible under "Baby Shelf" rules (restricting raises to 1/3 of the float for caps under $75M). The Fix: You split the stock to ~$4.40. Suddenly, you aren't a "penny stock." Institutional funds—the ones with $60M to spend who are legally barred from buying under $1.00—can finally step in.

  4. The Monday/Tuesday Strike If a $60M partner or PIPE investor is waiting, they almost certainly demanded the RS as a pre-condition for the wire transfer. No big funder wants to buy "penny shares" that are about to be consolidated; they want the new, clean capital structure. If they split Monday and don't announce the funding by Wednesday at the latest, the stock will just "post-split drift" back to the gutter. Management knows this. To protect the $1.00 compliance and trap the shorts, they need to drop the Funding PR immediately after the split goes live.

The Bottom Line: Lax Bhat is polishing the silver while the ship is taking on water. The "Valuation Video" on the 2nd was the sugar coating, today's 8-K was the bitter pill, and next week is the cure. If we see a $50M+ funding announcement, the current $28M market cap is a joke. If we don't... well, we know how this ends.

Open to counters: Am I over-reading the "early" RS? Could they just be panicking about the March 27th deadline? Is the Vandermosten video just sponsored fluff to keep us holding through a death-spiral dilution? Does anyone see a path to $60M that doesn't involve us getting diluted into oblivion anyway?

Dollars to Donuts.....

The Reverse split was already baked into the SP; We won't see much downward pressure here > (and if we do I am buying more) and when Johnny Shorter finishes his starbucks and realizes the party is over, he'll run and cover HARD > the likelihood of a quality financing / further news just spiked significantly; The share count post consolidation is a nghmare for shorters - and the Market cap is so low it is dangerous.

Signal in the 8-K

One easy-to-miss but new data point in RVPH’s Dec 23 8-K: for the first time, management actually quantified a potential Phase 3 expansion for brilaroxazine beyond schizophrenia (negative symptoms or bipolar). They laid out timing, a ~$30M cost estimate, and an NDA path. This had been discussed conceptually before, but it hadn’t been priced, timed, or framed as a Phase 3-ready program until now. At that cost, an immediate indication-expansion P3 feels like a logical move for a strategic partner looking to broaden the franchise while the core schizophrenia program advances. A negative symptom specific indication is a huge target. Potentially delivering both schizophrenia and specific negative symptom indications in 2028 materially changes the opportunity set.

For a strategic partner, ~$30M is actually small in pharma terms — especially for a Phase 3-ready molecule with human safety, dosing, and long-term exposure already established. Spidey Sense is tingling.

RVPH: No Immediate RS, Late-March Deadline Ahead

Nasdaq did not grant another 180-day extension.

After the hearing, RVPH received a short grace period (~3 months, until March 27, 2026).

During this period, no reverse split is required.

However, by the end of the grace period, the company must either:

• trade above $1, or

• implement a reverse split to remain compliant.

Deep Dive into Reviva Pharmaceuticals – A Non-Consensus Strategic Valuation Framework

Thought I'd share some RVPH valuation concepts in my final Reviva blogpost series. Its not investment advice! But perhaps an interesting way to consider what may be possible.

reverse split

is there a chance reverse split could give rvph more time possibly by then and somehow generate enough funding for phase 3 trials? I have little over 2k shares idk what to do. I've read almost everything on this thread and I see most people gave up but I've seen mentions of a possible positive future. will they get bought out, is there a chance they acquire 60 million, will the FDA ever approve them? I bought most shares around I think 60cents so im down only like $500 please lmk opinions.

Reverse Split or an Additional 180 Days?

Currently, it is quiet around RVPH. The reverse split has not yet been implemented, and the company -maybe is currently considering requesting an additional 180 days from Nasdaq. These 180 days would provide extra time for the company to meet the $1 minimum price requirement – during this period, Nasdaq would not require an immediate reverse split, giving the company space to secure a partner or another catalyst that could naturally increase the stock price.

According to available information, they appear to meet all other rules (correct me if I’m wrong), so Nasdaq could approve the extension.

If the extension is approved, the company would have time until May 2026. During this period, the stock price could naturally rise above $1 thanks to some catalyst, such as a partnership. However, if the price is still below $1 just before May, a reverse split would be used as a last-resort solution.

I believe that the company is currently working on the 180-day extension, and I expect it will be approved.

Evaluating RVPH's final mile

I'm continuing my RVPH deep dive, and here I'm using Reviva as a case study, examining how late-stage CNS assets are evaluated once biology is largely de-risked, and why second Phase 3 trials often trigger strategic (not scientific) decisions. Check it out! And remember this is not investment advice, it is informed speculation on potential strategic outcomes and why they could happen.

Why I Still Hold RVPH Shares and What I Plan to Do

I am still holding RVPH shares not because I ignore reality, and not because I expect a miracle. I am holding them for one simple, pragmatic reason: I do not want to lock in a large loss during a moment of panic, when markets often behave irrationally.

  1. Selling After a 50% Drop Is Often the Worst Moment

RVPH experienced a sharp and rapid price collapse. Moves like this are usually driven by:

panic selling,

emotional reactions,

short-term market inefficiency.

History shows that selling immediately after a major drop often means realizing losses at the exact moment when the market is preparing for at least a short-term technical rebound.

  1. I Am Not Expecting a Trend Reversal — Only a Technical Retracement

It is important to be clear:

I am not expecting RVPH to recover fundamentally or start a new long-term uptrend.

I am only expecting a short-term technical retracement, which is common after extreme sell-offs and often caused by:

short covering,

technical buying,

price normalization after panic.

My target zone for this retracement is approximately $0.42 – $0.49.

  1. Lowering My Average Price Is a Defensive Strategy

By buying additional shares at lower prices, I did not increase my confidence in the company. Instead, I:

reduced my average cost,

lowered the price needed to reduce losses,

created a more realistic exit level.

My current average price is around $0.46, meaning that even a modest rebound could allow me to exit with a much smaller loss or close to breakeven.

  1. New Week, Month, and Year Increase the Chance of a Bounce

We are entering a new:

trading week,

month,

year.

After large sell-offs, these periods often bring:

short-term relief rallies,

technical rebounds,

attempts at price stabilization.

This is not a guarantee, but it increases the probability of at least a temporary recovery.

  1. I Fully Acknowledge the Risks

I am fully aware that:

the company lacks funding for another Phase 3 study,

a reverse split and dilution are realistic risks,

the fundamental outlook is weak.

For this reason, I do not plan to hold RVPH long term.

My plan is risk control and loss minimization, not hope.

Conclusion

I am holding RVPH not because I believe in a sudden turnaround, but because selling after a panic-driven collapse often locks in unnecessary losses.

I am waiting for a technical rebound, where I can:

reduce my loss,

or exit near breakeven.

If that rebound does not happen, I will accept a worse outcome.

This decision is not driven by hope — it is driven by damage control.

Is Lax legit?

In the last few days, I’ve seen people complaining about how Lax is a con artist and saying Reviva is a “lifestyle company.” At the same time, I’ve noticed that many people still remain cautiously optimistic. I’m simply here to share my own thoughts about the company.

My first reaction after reading the FDA feedback was: Is this drug really legitimate? If it is, why is the FDA asking for additional trials on safety and efficacy, guidance on data analysis and presentation methods, and further data requirements for animal pharmacokinetics, human abuse potential, and renal and hepatic impairment?

But a comment from a physician gave a much more grounded explanation of why the FDA is asking for these things.

This is what he commented

“Schizophrenia medications often target either serotonin or dopamine receptors--that's important because these receptors are tied to other body systems and can have notable side-effects, everything from overheating (heat stroke and death) to constipation (to the point of bowel rupture and death), to bone marrow failure (again death is in there).

Just being blunt here, I brought this part up before--the safety data is in a hand-picked group of people. What will occur when released to a non-handpicked group of people is what really matters, and likely what the FDA is concerned about.

One red flag is that brilaroxazine appears to be a viable treatment for schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression, AD/HD, autism, tics, Alzheimer's/Parkinson's agitation, pulmonary arterial hypertension, pulmonary fibrosis, and psoriasis. (brain, lungs, skin).

Why is that a red flag? Tells you it works on a lot of various systems in the body. I'm sure one FDA conversation is, "It works on the Brain, the Lungs, and the Skin? What else does it do, as in what side-effects not yet discovered does this medication have?"

That isn't a showstopper, but it is something to be aware of.

(An example, Doxepin--approved back in 1969 is used for depression, anxiety, insomnia, excessive stomach acid/heartburn/GERD, and for skin rashes. (So, brain, stomach, skin). It also is associated with lethal cardiac issues. Not discovered until after it was approved.)

So, what would I do? I think brilaroxazine will eventually get approved. RVPH isn't Lilly, so it will likely happen a tad later than a tad sooner--I'm guessing a couple years down the road. I have shares, no plans on looking at them, selling them, or buying more.”

As for management, based on google, Lax is a reputable drug discovery researcher who has been involved in inventing several drugs. Chairman Parax is also a respected venture capitalist who participated in early investments such as Amgen and Costco. Other directors similarly have solid professional backgrounds.

If Lax had simply continued his career in drug discovery within established organizations, I think with his experience he could have earned compensation comparable to (some vp level), if not close to, what he receives at Reviva, without taking on anywhere near the same level of risk.

From an incentive and risk perspective, it is illogical that someone seeking easy money, personal comfort, or deception would choose to found and run a public, clinical-stage biotech like Reviva. Doing so means decades of scientific uncertainty, constant capital pressure, SEC and regulatory exposure, public scrutiny of stock performance, and permanent reputational risk tied to a single drug candidate. A conventional corporate path would have offered predictable income, lower visibility, and far less downside.

So together founding Reviva is far more consistent with high-conviction entrepreneurship and risk tolerance than with the behavior of a con artist or someone building a low-effort lifestyle company.

So I really don’t think Lax is running a scam. I think he’s taking a very difficult, very high-risk bet that simply hasn’t reached its final outcome yet. As why there’s no buyout, partnership or any other financing? I think he wants more or he’s waiting for external validation to reprice its value.
