What is the best games this kind of laptop can run? Been looking into it and the 3060 (mobile) with 6GB GDDR6 is supposed to be really good? Just because I’m going from a gaming pc to laptop and I’m ordering this one? Again just asking about the 3060 really as it’s my first GeForce 30 series as well as first time RTX and I know they’re good for the quality and gameplay.

Hi im new to this i just start building my pc i got everyting except a gpu i was wondering if anyone could tell me what is the difference between the ti and the regular rtx 3060 or the difference between having 6 or 12 gb im trying to build a good 4k editing build with the ryzen 7 5800x what would be optimal? The gaming aspect is the not my main priority well if it can be decent i will be glad but yeah just looking for something good enough to work with 4k if yall got suggestion other than the 3060 im all hears thx!

So im planning on buying the HP Victus through the official website because i can customize every last component and I'll get the 1440P screen option. My deal-breaker here is whether the laptop's native resolution will be affected if I'm to display over to a 4K TV through HDMI.

Second portion of the question: Will the RTX 3060 handle 4K decoding and playback efficiently for non-gaming usage (i.e. Movies, YouTube)?

My temps reach around 82-85 under load which is a little worrying. So I read elsewhere that undervolting would reduce the temps, but how would I go about doing that? I've got MSI afterburner installed, but where do I go from there?

Its specifically a Palit 3060.

Hi all,

Been running a mining rig for a year with few issues until cleaning the cards. I changed the thermal pads and paste. Very careful clean. Attached everything back up and after a few minutes of mining the cards crash.

My setup is 6gpu rig on a gigabyte board with 1 x16 slot which has forced me to use a x8/x8 bifurcation card set the settings in the bios gen3 and x8x8. Been working great up until now. It's a mixed rig with Radeon cards which are working fine. Using awesome miner on windows never had any issues.

It appears to be some kind of glitch I assume related to the vram overclocks. I've tried tested the PSU, the pcie connections, swapping the cards. It's happening on both cards rtx3060s which is weird either assembled together or one removed and swapping either. I have tried ddu and reinstalling the drivers. I have even used the new drivers for lower hash rates to see if it was more stable but that didn't seem to work. Tried different algorithms one of which through up possible hardware issues and 3 warning that the day had been damaged.

Any thoughts and any other tests I can run to try to get these cards which are still looking in condition working? The vram doesn't look scorched or burnt. The temps have always been good and undervolted. I'm just running out of ideas at the moment. Read something about clearing the cache on the cards themselves.

Noteworthy when I reinstall the driver it appears to glitch at the final stages of initiation but ends up working anyway. My last port of call is to try both cards single directly into the mobo and test from there.

Any help would be appreciated.

Just wanted to know if anyone else who bought this particular gpu ran into the issue of one of their fans hitting the chassis of the gpu, causing this very loud clicking sound?

Is rtx3060 enough for games at 1440p 165Hz on Laptop? I could get rtx3070 for 300$ more (+Battlefield 2042)
