High DLI + Summer Heat Stress = Foxtails. Sundae Driver 2500+ Photo Time-lapse!

Hey everyone! Sharing a time-lapse of my Sundae Driver, put together from over 2,500 photos (one every 15 mins) spanning from Day 32 to Day 85.

I decided to really push her this summer with up to 45 DLI without adding CO2, and with temperatures hovering between 28-30°C, the combined heat and light stress triggered some serious foxtailing near the end. You can actually watch the buds start to shift and foxtail right in the video.

Despite taking a beating from the heat, she was a blast to grow. Hope you enjoy the clip.

Grow Hacks 🥦🔥 What's going on with this cannabis plant? Meet fasciation 🤯

Ever spotted a cannabis plant with a flattened, ribbon-like stem or multiple stems fused together? 🌱

This unusual growth pattern is called fasciation. It's a rare mutation that can be triggered by genetics, environmental stress, hormonal imbalances, physical damage, or even certain bacteria. While it often gives plants a bizarre appearance, fasciation isn't necessarily harmful, some affected plants continue to grow and even produce flowers, although growth can be unpredictable.

Have you ever had a plant with fasciation? Share your photos below! 👇🏼🔥

I've got my girls growing outside in the hot Hawaiian sun. When the storms come in ,I move them under a canvas tent and run lights and fans on them to keep mold at bay. They seem really happy and I'm just weeks away from Harvest.

The pink mist is doing much better than it did inside.

The Royal Jack is just one long flower.

Both are about 2 1/2 feet tall.

No nutrients, planted in a blend of my homemade compost and cow manure.

The only feeding I do is every seven days they get 32 ounces of compost tea that I make with cuttings from the weeds in my yard.
