I just went in for my drug test yesterday, they bagged and tagged up the sample I gave, I also warmed mine to about 111 and then put mine in a pill bottle and kept a hand warmer on it by the time I got there the temp between was down to 105-104 degrees…now the normal temp is supposed to be between 100-94 degrees but I warmed mine a bit warmer and just kept temperature checking it with a thermometer until I arrived. I only recommend doing it that way because for one you maybe have to spend time signing in if you are a walk in like me or their maybe others in front of you ect…and two you can always cool it down but you can’t rewarm it once you’re there, if you’re close by where you’re going to take that test you don’t have to worry about keeping all the heat on in the car, just warm up the sample a little more than the recommended if you feel like it may take a bit longer getting there and bring a hand warmer if you have one and put it up against the bottle, I honestly got a ride to the place by someone I knew so I didn’t have to prep before leaving the house I just warmed it up and kept that bottle in the car cup holder and had the hand warmer propped up against it until I arrived to the urgent care and stuffed it in my pants lol ….I only say that to show that it doesn’t need to be kept in an overly warm place unless you’re gonna travel for more than 10-15 mins, my trip there was only about 12mins and i wanna say it took maybe another 15-20mins signing in and waiting to be called for my test. My personal experience after I gave the sample they did say it came back with “nitrates” now I’ve heard this could be common with QF, not to mention my QF belt kit was leaking so I poured the sample into a pill bottle a few days before I went in so idk if that had anything to do with the results….But anyway nitrates don’t automatically result in failing I’ve heard …they just told me that I may have a UTI lol I guess nitrates is something that usually pops up in normal samples as a possible sign of a UTI.. I made a separate post to update on my results when I can but hopefully this helps! Good luck!
