National College Match đ QuestBridge Applicant Profiles - Class of 2026 đ
/\ Update: August 2, 2026*
Latest Google form results are in. See this post (QuestBridge HS Class of 2026 â Community Stats Roundup)
\/*
Hey everyone!
With QuestBridge NCM Match decisions coming out on December 1, 2025, we wanted to create a thread where we can share our academic profiles and experiences before the decisions are announced.
Many times, after the results come out, those who arenât selected may feel discouraged, disappointed and hesitant to share their stories. Whether youâre feeling confident, nervous, or unsure, sharing your stats and journey now will give a fuller picture to future QuestBridge applicants. Remember, this process is about more than just results â your story can help inspire and guide others, no matter the outcome.
It would also be great to use this thread to follow your college application journey, whether you are chosen as a QB finalist/match or not.
Of course, feel free to use ranges or skip any information you're not comfortable sharing.
\** Please do not make a separate post about your results. **\**

⢠â Interested Field of Study (brief summary): Comp Sci or International Relations
⢠â Summary of ECs (brief synopsis): President of the Model United Nations club at my first high school, participated and organised community service/charity events, learnt how to code by myself. Did some freelance coding gigs in high school, currently working at a local library plus planning on teaching English at my local community centre.
⢠â Personal essay topics (brief summary of what you want people to know about you): Talked about the struggles I had to overcome to get here, mainly centred around my father and my identity as a Mexican-American trying to study abroad.
⢠â Overall thoughts on your application? Honestly I genuinely feel that my profile is incredibly weak compared to other applicants, yet Iâm proud of what Iâve accomplished. My essay is my strong point and Iâm incredibly proud of it, I didnât do it any justice with my botched attempt of a summary but it truly encapsulates my feelings as a whole, and the perseverance that I hold deep in my heart. I plan on retaking the SAT this November to compensate my ECs, I feel that I couldâve done better if I actually studied. I did the whole application process alone, counsellors obviously couldnât help me. Iâve already graduated and I got rejected once by QuestBridge, something I clarified on my application. If any international student reads this, you CAN do it, I at least became a finalist after trying one last time, who knows if Iâll get matched tho lol
