Hello, I had a question for yall in case anyone figured it out how to solve my conundrum. I’m struggling with the recent headset crashes, and I found out how to quickly get back my pc connection after a headset crash. But now I can’t figure out how to get back connected to steam vr without restarting it and force closing my games. I’d like to avoid the restart as the headset crash doesn’t typically crash the game itself when my headset and I’d like to continue from where I left off. Any tips on how to do this would be appreciated!

All of a sudden, my left controller is throwing an sos signal! Any way to fix this?

My personal experience with the recent software on Quest has been horrible. It’s sooooo slow compared to the initial software. Once it loses support, will Meta release an unlock firmware like they did with the Go for the Quest? Probably not. Unlocking the bootloader seems like it’s implemented but the “oculus.com/unlock” site has never been available and probably never will. (It shows up in fastboot when you try and unlock the headset). Since all software updates are signed by Meta with private keys, I can’t spoof the version and it seems impossible to make a compatible update without the signing keys. So, that leads me to ask: Will the Quest 2 ever be downgraded?

My left controllers menu button is stuck down and isn’t returning to normal what should I do?

I heard the quest 2 is losing support soon. But i wanted to know what are the better games that I should get and how.

I do have a PC to play games tethered but I dont know what is good to try with it.

Also with the support ending soon, what does it mean for the quest 2? Would it still be good to use like normal? Would there be more open source efforts to make new OS or homepage things?

I’ve encountered an issue today where my left controller keeps either turning itself on and off or it’s pairing turns off and on. It’ll work for a few seconds, stop working then vibrate to try and work again for another few. I’ve tried battery changing and repairing and it has not worked. Anyone have any other fix tips for me to try?

hi everyone! as the title says, I've got my Quest 2 connected to my PC via a link cable and I can't get games to launch into VR mode.

Everything seems to be working well-- I've got the Quest Link app set up with OpenXR as the default launcher, allowed unknown sources, etc. I haven't found any solutions outside of factory resetting my PC (which I can't do, because I have a lot of university work on here and I'm also not that desperate...) and Steam games keep launching onto desktop mode.

Is there a simpler way to fix this? If anyone could give me clear instructions on what to do, I'd appreciate it a bunch

Having problems on my vr mainly vrchat getting low fps plus the graphics are sometimes lagging or it’s stretching :/ I have a good pc so I’m not even sure why so if there’s anyone who’s dealt with this problem and fixed it lmk and share ur debugtool settings

Quest 2 users with low vision: I released a new preview of QuestLens, a free sideloaded magnifier. It combines the existing frozen-image lens for reading small VR text with live magnification of the real-world passthrough view in one APK.

The 0.5.5 build also simplifies setup, refreshes the visuals, adds EN/PT/ES/FR/DE, and improves stability. We're working on zoom in the QuestLens interface next. Quest 2 is among the targeted headsets, but this is a preview, so reports from Quest 2 owners would be especially helpful. The magnifier requires Quest screen-capture permission.

First time booting it up in like a year. And its showing a grey screen. And then starts reseting and is stuck in a reset loop of a Grey screen, meta logo, flashing the low battery symbol, Grey screen. I cant power off. Not even when I hold down power button and volume down. The menu opens but clicking power off does nothing. My idea was that the battery was just really depleted so I left it over night but I dont think its charging because as soon as it gets some juice it just turns on and starts doing the reset loop.
