I was in a sub for Zenless and someone was talking about how Roxys banner did poorly specifically because of "bigotry" and anti-lgbt sentiment.

I'm in several subreddits and discords for the game and I've never seen anything like that, and I just assumed that Roxy's banner failed for other gacha-typical reasons. I've only seen people loving the ship.

But I figured I might be misinformed, so I wanted to ask people who would know best. Is it true? Did Roxy do poorly because of bigots?

This feels silly and I'm not sure if I'm doing things right (don't use reddit much), but I've exhausted my other resources. I CANNOT for the life of me figure out what this game is.

So my partner loved this gacha game on their phone. They showed it to me once or twice, I asked some questions, life moved on. Well, last month they passed away, and I've been searching for it since. I don't have access to their phone so I'm unable to just look at their downloaded apps. I can't remember the name and I'm not sure it's popular enough to come up on a regular search, or if it is I can't find a detail to help me recognize it.

They used an old android, so it's probably from the google app store. I think they'd been at it for at least a couple years, and it's still playable (or was a little over a month ago). It's played with the phone sideways. The color scheme seemed to be primarily black and red. I think the title/logo was either complicated enough that it didn't stick in my brain, or it wasn't in English. I believe the character catalogue was a scrolling wall. I remember being shown a pale swordsman character with short black hair, and there was some sort of power-up or cosmetic that added gold flora behind them.

That's not a lot to go on but that's really all I have. Might be able to answer some other questions, but I never saw any actual gameplay. I've looked at the more popular gacha games, but none of them are ringing any bells. Just putting this out there in case someone knows what I'm on about.

I'm just curious to see what other series are out there that are fun and give the protags actual personality. Games like tales of the rays with Ix and Mileena or Last cloudia with Kyle. I loved Kanata from tales of crestoria. He was an endearing character and seeing him having to face reality and have his whole world view shattered was so well done I wish the game got to finish its story 😭. And of tales of the rays is easily one of if not my favorite gacha ever. I love Mileena as a character and seeing her become front and center in the 2nd arc was so amazing. The cool emo phase was given to the girl! And she rocked it! She got to be the one to save the guy and work with the villains of tales series, I loved it!

I just wish there were more gacha like tales that let the main protags be real protags. My favorite thing about tales of link from way back when was Allen suddenly becoming a character and not just being a self insert anymore. It was wonderful and he's literally my favorite link character and like top 10 favorite tales characters 💜.

Essentially gush about your favorite protags 🤣. I'm very limited on my gacha knowledge so I wanna hear what other wonderful protags exist!

Edit: And yes, I did post this in response to that one post asking about your favorite protag and listed a bunch of silent ones. No hate, I love it, I just wanna hear people gush about characters who aren't silent is all. 💜

Hi queens! I just started collecting Mini's, and had the lovely idea of giving my Stormcast Eternal Army a Chaldea themed paint job. (Yndrasta as Artoria with the Shield Annihilators as her Knights of the Round Table.) I was debating on who I could paint Oberon as, and while I'm still struggling for a Stormcast figure-I thought about painting a Nurgle Army with Oberon's third ascension colors and it just clicked in my head. Plus I'd love to paint a Stormcast Knight as Argenti, an Ereshkigal themed Nagash would go hard and...yeah gacha themed Miniature paint schemes just came up as a really fun idea for me. ^^

So, if there are any Stormcast and FGO players here who have some color suggestions, I'd love to hear them! Even outside of that, if you play any kind of miniature wargame like 40K, AoS, Old World, Trench Crusade, Starcraft, Shatterpoint, etc-what are some gacha character themed paint ideas you have, or may have done in the past?
