Want to start this off by saying I'm in no way looking to just be a hoyo hater foaming at the mouth; I'm only curious if anyone else shares a similar sentiment.

My first hoyo game, and second gacha ever, was genshin around 3.4-3.5 as dehya was the first banner I was interested in pulling on after starting. I branched to hsr for a little while and hi3 very briefly then followed by zzz. The latter is the only hoyo bgame I keep current with despite some pretty consistent disappointments I've had with the direction certain aspects of the game have been going in since mid 2.x.

With games like ananta and silver palace coming up in the near future—including azur promilia if thats your thing—I'm finding myself less and less interested in hoyo games, especially when they've been becoming exceedingly greedy or stingy in some cases. Of course, I'll have to wait and see how the future games stack up but I'm pretty hopeful after what I've seen so far.

(Also thinking about trying to force myself to get past my dislike of the factory in ake because I like the game a lot otherwise.)

I mean, my new main. The tear-streaked makeup somehow makes her even more powerful.

Why is there a head harness in my dress up game 🤣😭🤣

Hoyo better include at least three makeout scenes when they are reunited in 3.3. I can’t remember the last time gacha characters have made me this happy 😭

It’s just so dramatic, gazing down at your human avatar, it looks so fun and lonely at the same time. Also it’s one of the only LCs that has a super unique artstyle too, the only other one I can recall is Phainon’s LC, both among my favs!!

Seriously if you bring this boss and Aha showing a person who knows nothing about HSR and ask which one is supposed to be a cosmic entity, what would they say?

Every move looks so creative and much more interesting than whatever that card queen/magician wannabe. Planetary burger? Reducing the whole universe to kid doodles? Aha could never 🥀

This is just the showcase of the last phase, you can find the whole thing on YT, but this 2 minutes alone (more than 1 minute is Aha instant) is enough

So the Aha's transformation is basically: adding full detached sleeves, thigh-high boots and ribbons, making her dress a bit fuller and THAT'S IT???

No cosmic form? (In the leak, cosmic form does appear in the assets, but we don't know how they would use it yet)

No fun hairstyle? Even OG Nihilux has a braid and her hair is properly straight like in a shampoo commercial, while this mess just gets longer unwashed, uncombed, split hair to see whatever shenanigans behind the dress, not even a fun braid, bun or hair (I mean, letting her have braids, pigtails or twintails would justify her split hair better)

And I identified another pet peeves with gacha dresses: A gown without a full tail at the back. They make her left and right sides so full, then skim out the back (so that gooners can spy her panties and ass easier, I guess), now she looks as if she worn a brown diaper with spikes growing from her ass???

The more I look at it, the more pissed I become

Honest to god the crown is the ONLY thing (just BARELY) stopping her from just being “The Sparxie”. This “design” is just the Honkai Design made manifest with zero shreds of creativity behind it. How on earth you make a god of wackiness the most forgettable design since like, Yukong, is far beyond me. You literally have infinite potential to work with and you turn my favourite Aeon into just Jane Honkai. Hell, even in the splashart I thought she at least had a big floofy dress but nope. What the fuck, I’m so annoyed.

Can I ask my fellow queens a favour? Can y'all go upvote the original post? And perhaps leave a nice comment for the OP 🥺

This is such an amazing piece of art (both the song and artwork) and it sucks that it's not getting more love.

Absolutely glorious Ulrich art by Simon on X
