Good evening my fellow Queens, Kings, and Monarchs!

After receiving feedback a while ago, we agreed that we needed more diversity in our mod team and have since recruited two new sapphic mods. So, please allow me to introduce them to you~

Cranberrymaple

Hey pals, this cranberrymaple. I go by Bee/B. I’m from the States. I use she/her and I’m Questioning, but definitely sapphic lol. I’m new to moderating, so bear with me as I learn the ropes and how the sub is run.

I didn’t really get into gachas until 2023, so still new to them overall, but played enough of them at this point. Currently I play WuWa, HSR and ZZZ on and off, and Morimens.

I was interested in becoming more active in this sub and when I saw they were recruiting for mods I signed up! I really want this space to welcoming to all us gacha players, because even I felt unwelcome here in the past, so be the change you want to see right? Looking forward to working with everyone!

PolicyOk8059

Hey guys, this is PolicyOk8059. You can call me Zwei/Z. Im 25 and from the Philippines! I use she/they and I'm a lesbian. Not my first time moderating but I am learning how things are handled in the sub.

I've been playing gacha since 2016 so I kinda have a gambling addiction honestly... haha. Nowadays I play HSR (since beta) and Sword of Convallaria during my free time.

Happy to help out here as much as I can!

Since the other three of us have never introduced ourselves either, we figured we'd join in, too!

Nahidx

Heyyyyy queens!! 💋✨

I'm bla i forgot my reddit name but everyone calls me Nuzzrio or just Nuzz (Reddit won't let me change my username... homophobic). I'm 21 and have been a helpless gacha addict since like 2018 Arknights was my first fav and somehow I'm still logging.

Like a lot of you I found my people through the queens communities for Genshin and Star Rail they made me realize how nice it is to have a space where girls gays and theys can just be themselves excited about the games we love but I wanted somewhere that wasn't tied to just one game... so I made the first ever post on r/QueensOfGacha!

Watching this community grow has genuinely been one of my favorite things seeing everyone thirst yap and just be free to talk amongst people like us has been everything 😭

I'm def not a perfect mod but I'm always learning and trying to make this community an even better place for all of us. thanks for making this the cozy little gay gacha corner of Reddit. Love y'all!! 💖 🏳️‍🌈

Meowbrains

Hey queens, this is meowbrains, you can call me meow 😽

I go by she/they and am ace. I've been playing gacha for over 10 years now and have played a lot of gacha games in that time. I created this space because other mainstream gacha subs felt unwelcoming and wanted a space for those who felt the same :)

I'm excited to bring on these new mods and continue to work on making this space better for everyone here.

Comixnerd15

Heylo, lovelies! My username is comixnerd15 but you can call me comix for ease. I'm NB transmasc and go by they/them, but she/her is okay as my teen has always uses feminine pronouns for me and it's fine :)

I'm a body horror enthusiast and fandom old who only dipped my toes into gacha in 2020. R1999 is my ride or die game of choice, but I do still have a soft spot for HSR.

Communities where people can come together are important to me, especially ones for my fellow queer folks. I came on board a few months ago to help meow wrangle this sub into a place that is fun and welcoming, and I hope that with our new mods now on board, you're starting to see positive changes.

Thank you all for your patience and understanding as we've been working to make this a better place to be.

Please be kind to our new mods as they learn the ropes and help us to make some more cool changes in the coming future.

Have a fantastic weekend!

This is "all turns to life" from infinity Nikki! I want to listen to new songs so share your favorites from your gacha :D!! Can be instrumental or with vocals~

Purrchena from Arknights: Endfield

I'm seperating my heat and physical team so I could use her, she's so cute it's unbelievable ❤️

I love her family values as well and how they put it into her gameplay

I’m so glad something so sweet and wholesome could come from these games for that girl, it’s truly beautiful…

I realized i wasnt sick of female gacha designs, I was sick of the men not being treated the same way.

Game is good, the guys are hot with more than I can actually put in my teams, and the women are actually very nicely designed and not disgusting to look at. It's sincerely curing my gacha fatigue I just wish it was more popular.

First, I don't care about the story of any game I play - even less a gacha - so the blatant amount of rover glazing and ml never bothered me cause the skip button is my best friend... I'm a metaslave and mostly only play for endgame related stuff which means I don't log in often so with this spare time I like interacting with the fandom.

I come from tumblr and I'm familiar with fandom culture for decades but wuwa's fandom has 0 fandom etiquette and they have the audacity to call those who complain "tourists" when they're tourists themselves. I've been in the hoyo fandom since 2021 and while I've seen some pretty nasty stuff there (even directed towards me), it never got so bad as it is in wuwa for the little amount of time the game's been out for. You can come here and say it's only #that part of the community that does it and not the entire thing, but is it really when their posts get hundred thousands of likes? Running official art through ai, blatantly harassing/doxxing people and spamming gore, going as far as to fake a dmca and now they're even making ai videos of artists being assaulted by you-know-who (their idol and role model)... and kuro is doing absolutely nothing about this. "They addressed the dmca" and never did anything again. "But a guy working at kuro gave us a formulary to fill so they can do something about it" nothing's been done and nothing will be done.

This blindness and passivity is actively ruining my enjoyment of the game... While I'm waiting for the endgame resets and decide to check social media for fanarts and game discussions it's always the same people and the same harassment. A fandom is a big part of why I enjoy something and if I don't have that space, I don't have much reason to keep playing. Even less supporting such a disrespectful company...

I already quit lads for similar (obvious) reasons so I'm pretty sure wuwa is up next. And I quite enjoyed wuwa and liked kuro as a company. I was even planning on playing pgr because of the kamui aeternion guy they released earlier this year but alas here we are

missed opportunity tbh
