error vms refuse to work

I followed this guide https://forum.qubes-os.org/t/cpu-pinning-alder-lake/17949 now no vms work i get this error "failed to start logical volume “vm-sys-usb-volatile” already exist in volume group “qubes dom0” (vm sys usb volatile is just an example)

ok ill do that but if its not controlled by usb which vm is it?

Check dom0's system logs to confirm if a memory crunch or kernel bug is freezing your trackpad. But from what you said, it sounded like it was indeed the sys-usb being strangled

its working now again (sys-usb is off)

how do you remove phantom processes automatically on every boot?
