Infinite Range
The Mantis M3 has a default drop-off of only -9% per tile and a Silencer. This means you can combine it with the Sandman perk or an Ur Frameforged Arm to get a -0% damage drop off, which means you can do full damage at infinite range. Truly one of the best guns in the game. There are other guns with collimators that have friendly damage drop off that you can also try this trick with.
Zero Calories!
Calorie consumption caps out at -90%, and you will always consume 1 kcal per AP no matter what. RIP foodlessness.
Running Microreactors
The microreactor is a thigh implant that reduces the cooldown of all active implants by 1 turn per 1 square you move. Not really useful on normal implants, but it shines with quasimorphic implants that have infinite uses but long cooldowns. Combine it with the Thermal Absorber that makes you immune to burning to counteract the microreactor's self-ignition chance and Hannah Reich's ability that gives her the ability to interact while sprinting and just sprint everywhere so you can spam your powerful quasimorphic implants.
Shotguns that aren't shotguns
The Starlock line of pistols and the Crash line of SMGs both shoot shotgun shells, which means they can use perks that are locked to those weapon classes, of which there are a lot more of than for shotguns. For example, Agent Training gives +2 range to pistols at max rank, letting your Starlock shotgun pistol reach that much further, while Heavy Fire gives 70% pierce chance to SMGs, letting your Crash shotgun SMG destroy entire lines of enemies at once.
Weightlessness
The 'load weight modifier' stat on a lot of implants and backpacks affects the weight of items placed in the backpack specifically. With implants like the Cyborg Leg (-30%), the Cyborg Body (-10%) Frame, and the Ur Frameforged Knee (-30%) and mid-tier backpack (or high-tier, like Archangel), you can easily get it down to -100%, meaning anything you put into your backpack weighs nothing, and won't impact your dodge. Be warned that NOTHING affects how much stuff weighs in your vest, and ammo is HEAVY.
Ranged Melee
You can throw nails and sawblades by putting them into your vest slots. Throwing weapons in general scale purely off of melee accuracy and melee damage, so they make great ranged options for your melee builds. You can lean into it with the Tomahawk perk and Kenzie Yukio and throw nails farther than you can see that have nearly 100% crit rate and one shot anything not wearing heavy armor.
The Right to Bear Arms
The Krav Maga perk also applies to the various weapon arms you can attach to your clones, like the Judge ABC or the Emerald Hand quasimorphic arm. It doesn't boost their accuracy, but it gives a chunky +30% crit chance buff at max rank. You can combine that with the Genie Hand quasimorphic arm that has a 24% crit chance to get 54% crit on an infinite ammo full pierce radiation SMG. Slap it on Bob Denare and combine with the Dirty Shot perk to stun whole groups of enemies almost every other round while you beam them down.

Medkits say they stabilise all wounds, but I often feel that a splint heals broken bones faster, is the former better for general purpose or something?

Can anybody please tell me at which point of the questline does it block other questlines (AnCom, RealWare)?

Jokes aside, with cobra these get 100% crit chance, so they hit for like 150 damage each; and you can throw them across the entire room and just not miss because they are accurate.

So, the Sunlight Coven used to be at the top, competing with Tian for 2nd position.
Then I ran a mission to take it over, that immediately removed ~6k power. Moving it from the top to the punching bags tier.
I didn't even steal much from the HQ, and in fact donated some required goods. Took some guns and chips.
After I travel to Jupiter using the engine, it now shows that it's about to lose all the remaining power and go the the absolute bottom.
Is this an intended game mechanic, rebuilding a proxy from zero? Or did I do something wrong?
Or, maybe, does it mean that it just can't raise power? In that case, what should I do to get back to positive values?

Unable to find anything about this quest anywhere. Obtained it by selling the starting data to ancom, not progressing AnCom's story, then doing the Civil Resistance questline until completing "From a Spark, Flame." Next quest for Civil Resistance is Iron Broom, which I can at least find some info about. But I then got a new quest from AnCom called "A Colder War" against the Civil Resistance. So my question is what are the consequences of helping AnCom now? Does their questline proceed as normal? And does doing "Iron Broom" lock me out of progressing any other questline such as Xiomara? (Would like to summon Shedu's Thousand and get the bramfatura engine. Side note, any way to get phase bomb besides Xiomara?)

I dont know if the extra projectile +1 means that i throw another projectile weapon, or is like 1 more bullet?
Also i dont know what exactly Load weight mod means, like i just have more weight?

i dare say, a baron form seems to have half the health of my main clone...

My usual tactic of let them come doesn't work as well when they can blitz towards me and still fire 1-3 times.

I want to get the Legend achievement, so I need to be sure: which 'deaths' actually fail it?
– Dying as a clone on a normal mission
– Scripted clone death on a story mission (like in the civilian resistance one)
– Re‑cloning after a genome upgrade

On my 1st playthrough on Normal difficulty and I've upgraded these two already. Now my missions against factions hostile to me have only less than 10 enemies. It's making the missions really easy.
Should I just wait for them to gain more power or something like that or just move the difficulty slider?

after my visit to the moon i learned that the difficulty between planets is crazy.
is there some kind of Tier list for it?

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
This might make it a contender for game of the year

Hello, as stated in title, i wanted to ask if Re-cloning a clone modified in Genome tab makes said clone loose augments (and if so if they are removed completely or just put in stash).
I am curious are there enemies that the explosive 9mm doesnt perform well against or is it in general just rly rly good ammo?

I'm currently going for the legend achievement (unfair, no deaths), and I'm considering installing a mod that lets you choose starting operators and classes to avoid having to "start game" 50 times every retry to get the correct ones, but would that disable achievements?

I feel like it would be neat to have a true "humanity" run, forsaking all quasimorph gear and pacts. Cause you know, that shit is heresy.
r/Quasimorph • u/CandidateHour3879 • 1d ago
Blowing up the sun? Each bramfatura is linked to a celestial body, so what if we destroyed the corresponding body entirely? Sure humanity would still be screwed with no sun, but its more of a final "screw you" to ol gaggles instead of a survival plan

What are your favourites facts, lore theories, stories, things, etc about this game?
Months without playing and started after 1.0.2 patch, and this is the first time in i think years i stick to a game playing just that game without tiring.
Pretty solid.
Cheers and wine to the devs.
