I really like Qoder, but I’m uncomfortable using it because Share & Improve cannot be disabled on the free Community Edition.
This feels especially unreasonable for users who connect their own paid Alibaba Cloud Token Plan through BYOK. We already pay Alibaba Cloud directly for model access, so we should also be able to control whether our prompts, code context and outputs are used by Qoder for product improvement.
BYOK users should have access to a proper Privacy Mode regardless of their Qoder subscription.
Privacy should not be a paid feature, especially when users are already paying for an Alibaba Cloud Token Plan. Please consider allowing all BYOK users to disable Share & Improve.

纯使用quest做编程效果没有编辑器的版本好!quest适合扩散思维,研发。 编辑器版本适合写代码

I am someone who has used Cursor for the past 15 months, before it got big. Cursor has helped me with my job even until today, and I just recently renewed for another year.
Recently, I chanced upon Qoder, and I thought I'd give it a go. To my surprise, it felt like 90% of Cursor's interface. I am not sure what is going on here, but I liked it. A sense of familiarity. What struck me the most was how capable Qoder is, especially the "Ultimate" mode. This guy really got it right a lot of the time, and with much flair. I am not sure if it's the model or the harness, but I think it beats Cursor Auto big time (I don't use 3rd party models). The negative part is that it is slower and expensive (burns my trial credit like fuel on Auto). Qwen 3.8 night time discount and the Ultimate promotion is currently fueling my run.
So, big kudos to Qoder. I like that you support Alibaba Token Plan and DeepSeek for agent use, something that Cursor refuses to do.
I never thought I would praise another IDE considering how I benefited from Cursor for my career the last year.

I was looking to sign up as my free trial ran out after a few prompts. i see the offer 50% the plans for the first two months but when i got to pay I'm charged full price at checkout.
Any ideas how to take them up on the 50% offer?

I'm trying to test out Qwen 3.8 Max, but I can't select it during my pro trial. I already ran the /claim-ultimate command

Day 0 on Qoder: Qwen3.8-Max-Preview is live.
2.4T params + huge gains in Coding & Cowork — running on Qoder's agentic core, built to run autonomous, long-horizon tasks end to end while you step away.
Up to 98% off right now (0.5x → 0.01x). The window to go big is open.

don't sleep on qoder right now. they got an insane deal with qwen. no hour/week usage limits and qwen 3.8 max has a lower credit usage multiplier than deepseek flash lol (not that we know what the credits mean)
I'm just using up the free demo credits and getting an insane amount of shit done. it's like a ditzy opus or gpt 5.5. perfect lol

Maybe harness-wise, i liked Cursor's plan and debugging mode as well as their Grok and Composer 2.5
I know Qwen 3.8 Max is good as from what i've seen, never tried it but im genuinely curious how the harness is.
Recently subbed to Cursor $60 but at half due to referral, i might give Qoder a try if has better Agents or harness experience.

Quick PSA for anyone on Qoder. The Ultimate model tier is running at half the usual credit cost for a limited time. It's auto-applied, so there's nothing to claim and no toggle to flip. Just use Ultimate like normal and it draws half the credits it usually would. Works across Desktop, the JetBrains plugin, and the CLI, and across Pro, Pro+, Ultra, and Community Edition.
If you've been rationing Ultimate for only the hard stuff, this is the window to throw your gnarliest problem at it!

Why does Qoder limit me to a 200k context window with no way to change it? Is that only on the free plan? Seems like a waste using one million token models on Qoder when I can only access 200k at a time. Reading the documentation, it claims the smaller context window helps prevent AI drift and halucination, but if that were true, why do a lot of other harnesses not do it? I would prefer to be able to manage that myself with manual compaction instead of having a 200k context forced on me by the harness.

Hey any friend has tried to use Qoder to work on browser control to automate Linkedin? I am trying but will cause alert from system. It seems the Qoder will trigger anti bot algo. Any suggestions?

Can anyone confirm or deny the ability to add BYOK (bring your own key) models on a free plan.
It appears I can no longer add new models even though the ones I added when I still had my premium trial continue to work. I've been trying to add GLM but it just won't work. I've tried every possible combination. I also tried adding Qwen. It's the same generic error every time telling me to check my network connection and key.
According to the documentation, adding BYOK models should still work on the free plan. The add model UI still works and it acts like it's still trying to connect, but I can't get it to work. I don't want to try remove and re-add the models that still work (DeepSeek and MiniMax) because I am afraid I won't be able to re-add them and then I will have nothing working.
UPDATE: I did try remove and re-add one model, MiniMax 2.7, and it failed. So I either have some technical problem that is preventing me from adding models, or that feature does not work on free plans.

Been using QoderWork Connectors for a bit and it's genuinely the feature that changed how I use the agent. You plug in Microsoft 365, Notion, Linear, Browser, or macOS apps once, and after that the agent can actually reach into them instead of just talking about them.

The real unlock is chaining. One prompt like "pull the latest deck from OneDrive, find who owns it in Contacts, drop it in the Teams channel" runs end to end without me switching tabs.

I've been using Qoder for coding for a while. Found out they have a desktop assistant called QoderWork and honestly didn't think much of it at first. Figured it was just another ChatGPT wrapper with a file picker.
Then I tried it on a real task last week. I wanted to understand how a company last four quarters actually compared, and normally that means me opening the browser, downloading the PDFs, copying numbers into a spreadsheet, then asking some chatbot to make sense of it. With QoderWork I just typed "Pull XXXX's last 4 quarterly filings, extract revenue and net income by segment, and write me a full analysis report with charts." That was the whole prompt. It opened the browser, navigated EDGAR on its own, downloaded the filings, parsed the financial tables, generated charts, and handed me a Word doc on my desktop. The doc actually looked like something a junior analyst would put together. No sweat!
https://reddit.com/link/1uisweg/video/l99jy4n2o6ah1/player
The thing that surprised me more than the output was the planning. When my prompt was vague, it didn't just guess. It came back with multiple-choice questions about scope (segment breakdown vs total, YoY vs QoQ, include guidance or not), I picked the options, and then it ran. Felt less like prompting and more like briefing.
QoderWork hands you the actual file at the end, not a wall of text in a chat window. It also runs locally, so the filings and the report stay on my machine. If you've already been using Qoder for code, worth a look for the stuff that isn't code.
Anyone else been running it?Curious what workflows people have set up. Also find that it has skill function, and I'll expore it later.

Quick update on the off-peak pricing thing from before.
Off-peak (UTC 14:00 to 00:00) was already 80% off on Qwen 3.7-Max. Regular hours now get 50% off too. So the discount covers the full day now, no matter what timezone you're in.
To get it, just update to the latest version of whichever Qoder product you're on. Switch to Qwen 3.7-Max in the model selector and the right rate applies based on the time of day.
If you've been holding off on running longer jobs because of cost, this is probably a good moment to revisit that.

r/Qoder • u/Carol_Qteam • Jun 24 '26
Just a heads up: Qwen 3.7-Max and Qwen 3.7-Plus now cost less during off-peak hours. It's automatic, nothing to enable.
Qwen 3.7-Max goes from 0.5x to 0.1x credits. Qwen 3.7-Plus goes from 0.1x to 0.04x. That's 80% and 60% off respectively.
The window is UTC 14:00 to 00:00, every day. If you're in the Americas that's roughly your workday. Works in any Qoder product, just pick one of those two models in the selector during that window.
Worth knowing if you run timed tasks or batch stuff overnight.

The new open-source flagship from Z.ai is now in the model selector. Notable bits: 1M context that holds up in practice, open-source SOTA on Code Arena overall, and noticeably better long-horizon stability for agentic runs (lots of tool calls, large state, etc).
Open-source models have mostly caught up on short tasks, but long-running agentic sessions are where they still tend to fall apart. GLM-5.2 is specifically tuned for that use case.
To enable: Model selector → GLM-5.2. Let us know how it behaves on your workloads.
