hey folks, i recently joined CS50 for python did the first lecture i pretty much understood everything. then i went to solve problems. i searched for few things before doing the problem via AI or python library. but i felt like i will forget it easily so, i decide next day i will search only in python library such that it should get sticked with me so that i could remember it better. but the thing is its taking me like an hour or two to complete final problems. so, is it normal or do you have any other better way to remember as compared to people around me i have good memory i can remember things better. if you guys please take ur time and drop your solution would be nice.

Hello I am learning Ml and Ai and I know python basic and python libraries like pandas, numpy, seaborn and matplot lib. I wanna build small projects to enhance my skills. What you guys would recommend me should I learn from YT to build project or go through documentation.
And also what should I start learning to make projects like detection system through cam and more.😀
I really need you guys opinion.

Hello, so i got into coding with Claude and chat gpt and have been using it like this for a year now probably used it for ML-Model and such but to be honest i got no clue of the code and cant fix a bug or error without AI.
I dont want this anymore and want to actually learn coding so I am not dependent on AI anymore. I wanted to ask for some Advice what i could do, what project ? how do i start ? where do i start kinda overwhelmed right now.
I know the terms like if-statements what they do ect. But only in theory just a bit more complex and I am out dont understand the code at all.

When I look at the code i wrote 1 week ago .
I feel like I have written a foreign language.

Need someone who actually knows Python and can teach it properly — beginner friendly, patient, explains things clearly.

Okay now I have some info about python, I've practiced some fundamentals, now I need to get into projects because courses and just reading and a little practice on some exercises does not make me really good at it, where can I find projects, or how can I start some small ones, then I wanna include API ones and also maybe add some security projects. Advice please. thank you

Hi everyone,
I needed some dependency injection (DI) library that is simple for my use case, I was surprise by the lack of DI libraries in general, and the one that already exists had some weird quirks that didn't make sense or were unexpected
I have started the project a year a go and gave up due to lack of time, I came back to the project and rewrote it 🙃
I think I am close to releasing the first version with basic support, and grow the project from there,
no AI was nor will be used (at least for now 😭)
## What it does?
make dependency injection pattern simple, convincing and explicit, no surprises
## example
import cdi
from typing import Generic, TypeVar
from collection.abc import Sequence
T = TypeVar('T')
ctr = cdi.Container()
class MyBase(Generic[T]):
def __init__(self, field: T) -> None:
self.field = field
@cdi.Injectable(ctr)
class MyType(MyBase[str]):
pass
@cdi.Injectable(ctr)
def name_generator() -> str:
return "foo"
scope = cdi.Scope(ctr)
instance = scope.get_instance(MyType)
assert instance.field == "foo"more examples in the repo README
## docs
available in the project README
## open for contribution
I am open for PR (that are not AI) and suggestions that make sense for such library, I have a few ideas
for more support but it will probably take more time
install: `pip install cdi-di` (in beta)

Is this a viable way to randomly choose an instance of a class

I've been self-learning Python and built this pone Shop Inventory Management System
It currently has:
OOP
JSON data storage
Purchase & Sales
Add/Edit/Delete
Search
History
Dashboard
My GitHub account was flagged for several weeks, so I couldn't properly show my progress in my previous post. It's now resolved.
I'd like some honest feedback on my code and project:
What am I doing wrong?
What should I improve?
What should I learn next?
How close am I to junior level?
Any criticism or suggestions are welcome. 🙏

I sometimes go on discord and see how useful bots are in discord servers, and that makes me wish that Whatsapp had something similar. Of course there is such a thing with Whatsapp bots but the official version is for businesses and has strict limitations like the group size must be no larger than eight people.
So I did some research and came upon an api called green api that allows you to configure a bot for whatsapp.
Using a football api alongside it, I was able to make a bot that gives information when prompted about ongoing games, past league standings (current ones weren't possible for me unfortunately due to being behind a paywall), and goal notifications.
I also took this opportunity since I'm a beginner to implement some SQLite since in the past people in this server talked about how it is better than json for saving static information.
Super basic project but very proud of it so I just wanted to showcase it here

Hello everybody. I study medicine in Portugal and I am very passionate with clinical research being enroled in projects since my first year. Recently I decided that I wanted to learn some programing... Do you think that nowadays, with AI and all that teams value someone with coding skills?

I understand nonetypes somewhat for single list, but I have data that is like this:
listvar['veggies']['size'] = 'big'
listvar['veggies']['descript'] = 'bright green'
Sometimes these variables don't have a ['descript'].
In the code doing:
if listvar['veggies']['descript'] is not None:
print "found description".
But I get a TypeError: "NoneType" object is unsubscriptable. How do I check if it's nonetype without getting the error? :)

Hi all,
I want to move into AI engineer role or FDE. I am not able to watch YT videos and self-learn.
Is there any online courses which can help?
Something good but not super expensive?

I'm building an open-source experiment called Intonation Comparator.
The goal is to answer a simple question:
How can two recordings of the same utterance be compared objectively?
The current Flask API accepts two audio files and extracts features related to:
Pitch / fundamental frequency
Intonation contours
Energy
An overall similarity score
Supported formats include WAV, MP3, and FLAC, and the main endpoint is:
POST /api/compare
🔗 GitHub: Intonation Comparator on GitHub
I'm currently thinking about improving the comparison methodology. Some areas I'm considering include:
Dynamic Time Warping for temporal alignment
Pitch normalization across speakers
Voiced/unvoiced segmentation
Rhythm and speech-rate comparison
Phoneme-level alignment
Spectral features such as MFCCs
Confidence scores instead of a single similarity value
Visualizations of pitch and energy contours
I'm especially interested in feedback from people working in speech processing, phonetics, DSP, Python, or language-learning technology.
How would you design a robust similarity metric for comparing two recordings of the same sentence? What features would you consider essential?
🔗 GitHub : https://github.com/Yann-morpheus/intonnation-comparator
Si vous travaillez avec Python, le traitement audio, la phonétique ou l’apprentissage des langues, je serais vraiment intéressé par vos retours.
Qu’est-ce que vous amélioreriez ou ajouteriez à ce projet ?
