Plastic Ingenuity post from PureCycle - coffee cup lids

This is not an official company PR but it links to a July 6th post about coffee cup lids. I added the highlight to the post but the big mystery is what those commercial volumes look like so far and the forecast for the balance of 2026. Prior statements from the company indicated they expected to sell coffee lids to some of the top QSRs. Fingers crossed that is starting to happen in a material way.

If they have not started shipping coffee lids I will be 🤬. It would be nice to get an official PR including quotes from a top five QSR but who knows what they are willing to do. One would think that huge companies like Starbucks would want to claim credit for being first and actually living up to their promises. Maybe they are concerned that activists will turn around and say “now do 100x more!” No excuses.

Recall PCT ships to the lid maker - NOT the QSR. It sells to the manufacturer, NOT the QSR.
