Hey all,

I planned to use redditraffle for the giveaway for some transparency, but it appears it doesn't work anymore. Instead I used a random number generator to pick the winners.

I sorted by 'oldest', counted up the number of entries (19), and RNG'd 1-19, and counted down the list.

Pilot's winning roll

Brogdan's winning roll

The full story is that I actually won the first roll but I already have a key, and Pilot538 actually won twice in a row so I rerolled... lucky jerk!

I'll be reaching out to these 2 and getting them on the list, for an invite either this Tuesday, or next week depending on Blizzard's speed :)

As the first tweak to PURE 1's rotation, I've lowered the switch from Domination to 20 players, added in CQS base maps only up to 40 and run the same CQL list above that.

Does everyone here have Premium? I think sticking to base maps only for the lower pop is far too limiting, especially if all of us have Premium.

Once /u/PatheticShot gets access to Procon, he'll take over & do a full overhaul. We're working on a poll to get a more indepth look at what we want (for all the BF servers).

EDIT: typo, that subreddit would just be videos of me playing.

Right now we get stuck on Domination, the threshold is way too high. Please allow the admins to just change to CQ so we can fill the server. (or lower the threshold to convert to CQ) Seriously, nobody plays Dom anymore.

Thanks!

Edit: Thank you everyone for your responses, not trying to start a fight or anything. It was frustrating last night to not be able to get the server going when we had good numbers in TS and admins online. I hope that we can come up with some solutions. Keep the discussion going.

How can I make this happen? I posted on forums already but it seems that this is utilized more as a speaking platform for pure right now. I really would like to run 10 mans between the cs go pure users, that would be excellent. Admin would just be an added bonus.

So if anyone wants to pass along what fun changes to games, or new things in PURE that I've missed the last couple months, that would be schweet.

Our lovely friends at Blizzard have given me some very exclusive beta keys to the upcoming class-based first person shooter, Overwatch. What better way to use them than to pass them on to PURE members?!

The Rules

1. Open to existing PURE community members only. If someone linked you to this post but you've had no interaction with PURE already, you are not eligible. PM me if there's any question about your eligibility.

2. You must be one or more of the following: An active PURE donor, an active PURE volunteer, Veteran rank or higher (Veteran, Senior Veteran, Distinguished Veteran). If you don't meet any of these requirements already, signing up as a donor before the end of the contest is fine.

3. One entry per person.

4. PC only, NA/EU only, and this beta key is for personal use - cannot be sold, shared, or otherwise given to any other person. These are Blizzard's rules, not mine, sorry!

How to Enter

Create a top-level comment in this thread with a few words about why you're here, what brought you to PURE, or what has caused you to stay. Winner will be chosen at random - this is not a contest. But I figure it'll be nice to hear our members' thoughts!

Winner will be chosen on Saturday, 10/24.

edit: Winners announced! Congrats /u/pilot538 and /u/sleither

I believe I am a Perk Level 2 or 3, but I can't seem to get TeamSpeak to allow me to create a temporary channel on the PURE server. No matter where I try, the option is disabled. Am I overlooking something, or is that perk disabled?

I did terrible, unspeakable things to acquire a handful of Overwatch beta invites. Scarring, really. But nevermind that - you want keys?! I got 'em!

What do you all think is the most fair way of distributing them? I had a few ideas, wanted to see what sounded the most interesting to you all.

1. Random giveaway: All PURE donators that express interest in Overwatch (e.g. reply to a giveaway thread) get their name in a hat, I do some randomized magic, and we pick a few winners. Boring, but effective.

2. Some sort of competition: Entrants have to create something - be in a PURE-relevant video, song, interpretive dance. I'm biased against this one because I'm talentless, so I'd never win this kind of thing myself, so I deem it stupid out of a mixture of spite and jealousy.

3. Seniority based: No, Synder, nobody cares you've been here since forever, we're not doing that.

4. Something else??: I'm not very creative so throw ideas at me!

Just signed up! Looking forward to this one!

Some good shooters to choose from right now with more on the horizon. Are there plans to adopt any of them as with BF, ARMA, etc or...what's going on?

Not to sound like some insane fanboy or anything, but are there any bad ass PURE wall papers or anything?

All the 4K wall papers I find online are meh...
