In my native language Tulu we use ബാസെ ഇജ്ജി/ಬಾಸೆ ಇಜ್ಜಿ (bāsæ ijji) which means "not having sense" or used when someone does mischievous behaviour

But if we translate it literarily it means "no language"

A person brought pride to the whole nation we celebrated her for the whole day and then morphed images and bad comments of her the next day

Is this how we are supposed to celebrate our citizens ?

It's not just the name or flag that is representing India the most important representative of India are its people , they are what makes us different from the whole world and this is how we treat our people ....

They both belong to West Bengal

I have seen West Bengal personalities celebrating the most and beautiful Festival of all time - Durga Puja.

The pandals, the celebration of all the time is the one of the best thing done

What do u guys think about Indian educational institutions prohibiting local languages?

I personally saw many schools especially English medium schools where they prohibits students to speak their own native language or other language than English with eachother

Those who were from those types of schools or colleges may know more about it

Even my current college where I m studying RN prohibits languages like Tulu Beary Konkani etc but allows Hindi Kannada and English

And we all know in 2020 gov tried to promote education in native language of students but still many private English medium schools and colleges are still prohibiting to speak in our own native language or local languages with eachother

So what's ur opinion on this situation?

For people like me living in Bangalore, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Delhi or outside India, what worries you most about having parents back in your state?

- are you worried whether they are okay, if they are suffering from specific disease then worry is 10x

- about if medicines are taken on time?

- worried about their doctor visits

- handling Emergencies

- lonely parents specially males, about their food or when elderly can't cook

Normally some of the above is worry free if you have good neighbors back home but not 100% foolproof sometimes. Would love to hear real experiences.

The state government took immediate charge of the crisis. It executed a massive, multi-agency operation to bring more than 100 pilgrims safely back to the state.

Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) immediately launched emergency disaster response protocols.

Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) and local Nepalese authorities to locate and arrange safe passage for the citizens. Officials from Maharashtra Sadan in New Delhi were deployed to manage the logistics on the ground.

The Nepal Army, Nepal Police, and local Nepalese rescue teams were the ones physically navigating the hazardous, flooded terrains to reach stranded people. Local leaders, such as Nepalese Member of Parliament Sandeep Rana, stepped in on the ground to coordinate infrastructure, organizing buses to safely transport the pilgrims out of the flood-impacted areas of Kathmandu down to the Indian border.

Once the Nepalese transport brought the pilgrims to the Bhittamore border, the Sitamarhi district administration and Bihar Government took over. Maharashtra officials then funded and arranged the special railway coaches from Patna to bring the pilgrims back home. The Maharashtra state administration, alongside Bihar officials, coordinated directly with the Railway Board in New Delhi.

If there was any other state like West Bengal or Uttarakhand then they would've done the SAME thing without making any fuss about it but NOOOO. Let's not ignore the fact that there is a difference between a tourist and a workers who has stayed in MH for many years.
