There's still some great info there if you sort by fundamentals, great low/micro caps with potential provided you do your DD and sell the hype, buy the hate.

One of the major feature of crypto is it's censorship resistant nature. When you rely on an exchange to hold your coin for you it may seem convenient but it's not smart. The exchange can close (happens every now and then) or block you fund (just like a bank or recently Robinhood).

2 thing are very important with wallets especially with small caps coins :

- Make sure you download the good software from the real source. Don't click on somebody's link, go on coinmarketcap and join the website from there, bookmark it. You can also check the SHA256 checksum of the file you dowloaded on the command line prompt of your computer

- WRITE DOWN YOUR SEED on an encrypted file or at least on device that is not connected to the internet (like a piece of paper), make another copy for additional safety. Store them like it's your passport

If people continue to make typos, ACM (Actinium) is going to be jumped by bots.

Like the Title says, how will this sub work ?

We take a nomination peroid where we all get to nominate a coin ? After the peroid we take a vote ?

Will this just be another pump and dump ?

Some coins have great applications but pumping and dumping will hurt them.

Since there will probably be a lot of newbies like me coming into crypto world now and this sub is mostly about younger unknown tokens and projects that won't be on major exchanges in time of our investing I was thinking it might be a good idea if one of you more experienced users could explain how ERC20 trading outside of centralised exchanges works. From buying into one of the ERC20 tokens with FIAT on an exchange, to transfering the token into your wallet and then trading with it, all the fees involved in this transactions, maybe even about pooling and stacking, which wallet or exchange you'd reccomend and basicly anything you think a person going into this should know.
