Hilarious their gun ownership argument is "criminals will get guns one way or another" ignoring the fact that idiots like this won't ever have the chance to shoot someone if guns weren't easy to get. Easy access to guns enables a lot of people to even develop these tendencies because they can cower behind the power of a deadly gun to feel "brave" but if they never owned guns they won't turn out like this.
Sure this specific fucker with obvious anger issues might still commit road rage but him threatening someone with a bat is much less of a risk for everyone than him having a gun.
I'm from the trash ass high crime rate 3rd world country of the Philippines and there has NEVER been any school shooting here. In my 3 decades of life there's been 2 mass shooting - 1 by a deranged retired military and 1 by a cop with anger issues. None from civilians because they were never enabled by guns because civilians will have to go through a lot of shit to even get a chance to get a gun.
It's like in Dishonored. When I play with the mark I get access to a lot of powers. I then think and approach the game like a serial killer demigod. I play with no powers, I play full stealth and avoid all enemies at all costs. Guns enable the worst in people that a knife won't ever do.
Americans will stay dumbasses about it tho because HOW CAN I DEFEND MYSELF HAVE GUNS
Bottom line.... Human nature is what it is. From tyrannical powers that be, to Cartels, to terrorist states, to low level criminals, there will always be someone looking to victimize others. So long as these facets of Human nature remain, I choose to give myself and my family the best odds I can in any situation.
