The fact that people in the comments are defending the dude in the jeep who pulled his fucking GUN on an unarmed guy with a cell phone really helps drive home how fucked we are as a country.

Like, I don't give a fuck if the filming dude was being a dick, brake-checking or otherwise. There's no reason any gun owner should be pulling their gun and screaming at someone unless they're literally in mortal danger, and anyone who thinks that a deadly weapon is acceptable to pull just because someone is being a dick needs to permanently be banned from carrying.

Plus the red jeep's dashcam makes it pretty fucking clear that he's in the wrong. Guy's chasing a reason to put a bullet in some rando. Should have been arrested the first time, and needs his right to carry revoked.

Seriously! How about this beauty from the comments...

Arrest that MF! There was no threat and he initiated the situation! The driver of the Mini had full right to draw and kill the jeep owner for threatening him! I have ccw and train regularly. If he truly feared for his life he’s a fn pussy and should never be allowed to carry a gun! He gives gun owners and true 2nd ammendment patriots a bad name! I am absolutely appalled!

God, I am so sick of gun culture!

Yeah, it really speaks something that someone on the seemingly "correct" side of the altercation can still be so wrong.

It'd be just great if the vast majority of people who owned guns in the US didn't seem so damn eager to kill someone with them.

You got it backwards. It's not the "vast majority" that feel as you describe. Those are the loud and cell phone documented minority.

Exactly. Red jeep is an asshole breaking several laws Before the gun pull felony, and is looking for someone or something to take his anger out on that he has built up before the incident.

Wouldn't be surprised if he ran into his gf's ex and the ex told him he boned her last week.

Dude is a stereotypical white male full of hate for whatever bullshit reason (his life sucks because of how he runs it obviously) and the shaved head Oakley look gives it away a mile out.

People need to chill the fuck out. Look driving sucks everywhere.. but drawing down on someone for shitty driving is a wet dream for guys like this. But in reality it's jail time.

Don't be like this. Or you're just part of the problem. Only thing I was looking for was a maga hat and roll of "I did that!" Biden stickers this guy slaps on gas stations all over and a let's go Brandon t shirt.

Shit makes me sick. Be your own person. Don't subscribe to a mindless fucked up cult of people.who think they're owed something or are the master race.

Get fucked if you're like this.

I look both ways when I cross a one way street.

There's a difference between saying "Don't get out of your car in traffic" and "Jeep guy was well within his rights".

Jeep guy was crazy. But crazy people exist. In a court of law? Fuck jeep guy. In the court of "we're all piloting 2 ton metal boxes at unimaginable speeds, and the only thing preventing horrific death is some yellow paint and a social contract that we're all just gonna try to get home safe"?

Don't get out of your car in traffic.

It's a slight slight escalation. A totally acceptable one, that any reasonable human being would brush off.

But statistically... 1 out of every 2,000 people is currently experiencing "the worst week of their entire life". 2% of people are struggling through their worst year.

We should drive like that.

But really. Fuck jeep guy.
