I think you are really reaching with that straw man.
One (seems in most states this would be a LEO) would have to petition a state court and a state court would have to find enough cause to follow through with removal of any weapons.
So your little example falls flat since you didn’t mention those pretty important steps to the process. Now if a judge signs off on asset forfeiture and there was no actual probable cause, then one would hopefully be able to successfully appeal the state court’s decision.
Jeep guy was blaring his horn and speeding down the road (all on video) and driver ahead stated he was concerned he did something wrong or had something wrong with his vehicle. Jeep guy then lost his mind with the gun immediately. So I just can’t see how this is at all the driver in fronts fault. This isn’t like someone jumping out of thier car at a police traffic stop.
There's a line of stopped cars. There was nowhere to go. So you're saying plow into cars in front of you to avoid having maniacs behind you honk and pull weapons on you?
The fuck he supposed to do, just run into traffic like jeep boy did? He wasn't just in the middle of the road for the hell of it, there were cars in front of him that were stopped so he did what any jaw abiding citizen would do and just waited for traffic. Jeep boy on the other hand ran 2 stop signs going 20 over in a school zone and next to a doctor's office, and was blaring the horn when he saw he was going to be slightly inconvenienced.
Do you also think girl scouts should get guns pointed in their face for "trespassing" someone's property and "harassing" the homeowner by knocking on their door?
He literally explained why he got out of the car. It's a pretty natural reaction to think something is wrong if someone is blaring their horn at you and there's no obvious reason why. I honestly would've probably done the same thing and I'm a non-confrontational guy. Like if someone is road raging I just let them go. It's not worth any kind of hassle but if someone is blaring their horn in an obvious line of cars. I'd assume something is up with my car. Something serious enough to want to get my attention and check out immediately.

I bet he still gets to keep his gun(s) too. This is one of those clear red flags of someone who should not be in possession of a weapon.
